This is something that I'm very surprised gets glossed over. The dude just finishes on his love seat/carpet/hand and nobody seems to care. While he's playing Nioh, he's there stewing in his own jizz. Why does he smell his fingers after stroking his beard? It's clearly because he likes the smell of semen.

We all know that even if someone popped up in the next day or two and gave him $5000 nothing at all would change.

He's obviously incapable of managing his finances at all. So whether people even reach his "Halloween" goal or not, won't matter in the slightest.

There are a couple of reasons for the Patreon funding total crashing:

- The goal is absolute fucking trash. A genre of costume is all that can be nominated and voted on...we're not talking about a possibility of dressing Phil up in any conceivable way. Keep in mind he can veto the choice at any time.
- We all know he is going to do the Halloween Marathon anyway, so there is no point in funding it.
- His patrons are beginning to see the light when he is getting $50, $100 tips during streams and minutes later is giving the Oliver Twist routine while pleading for more.

That total is going to sink to $800 by this time next month.

People think Burnell is stupid all around but when it comes to new and exciting ways to beg for money or avoid having to do manual labour I'd stick my neck out and say he's sharp minded. He's exceptional. He has no control over twitch, but lucked out beyond all possible doubt by not getting his twitch banned for jacking it on stream.

Someone saying "oh there's a 90% chance my stream will get banned but hey free publicity " (assuming it wasn't the insanely likely situation where he did it on accident) isn't sharp minded.

I can't wait to see if he does it because I love situations that put Phil's lust for money against his stubborn spite. By all means he should do it regardless of if the goal is funded because occasional theme streams pump out the big bucks for most streamers, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't do it because he thought it'd teach his fans a lesson. "I'm not gonna reward you unless you pay me, dood! You haven't done enough to deserve a reward!" etc. etc.

I've been watching Phil since early 2010, when Mass Effect 2 launched. These past 7.5 years have been quite something. He reached his pinnacle in 2011/2012 and it's been downhill since. I think it was sometime when Leanna started appearing in his videos (February 2012) that many viewers started turning away.

While I don't think that Leanna is a bad person (she was only 18 at the time, and probably was immature like most 18 year olds), Phil rejected feedback from his viewers to keep Leanna's presence to a minimum because her voice is admittedly super nasally and very annoying to listen to. He flipped out on people, telling people that he's going to do what he wants to do.

I don't understand why he decided to move to Washington. It was obviously a fiscally irresponsible move. His condo in CT was fine, he just needed to clean it up a bit and get rid of all the crap he doesn't need.

I suspect that he might sell the place in Washington and move back to CT to avoid bankruptcy and losing everything. That is what I would recommend.

"I am laying down the law here: we did not reach the Halloween marathon goal, so there won't be one. That's all I have to say. I set a Patreon goal and you guys failed to reach it. Tough titties for you I guess", followed by instant begging via Patreon, tips, cheers and whatever nonsense he has until then. Thhough I have a feeling that miracously someone will fill the gap by the last second, be it Phil himself or Vidar. Phil cannot afford to avoid Halloween entirely, setting it up as a Patreon goal was stupid in the first place then.

I suspect that he might sell the place in Washington and move back to CT to avoid bankruptcy and losing everything. That is what I would recommend.

He will likely fast sell the condo in CT for next to nothing before having to move back. I can't for the life of me figure out why he doesn't rent out an empty condo in CT that is never used and he is spending close to 2 grand a month on.
