If you have to pay to tease a lolcow then you are worse than them and should kys fam.
So I was banned for 600 seconds on the stream because I cheered 15 bits and said "can you play the game already, you've been talking about personal nonsense for 30 minutes" and Phil called me out on my "whining". Also he got nearly $200 in tips just now. So he's going to say he met the Patreon goal via the tip money. Calling it right now.

His fucking idiot fanbase.
You know why there are DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS signs in parks? Because they stop going out to look for food themselves, and will eventually die because they don't know how to be independent.

Stop giving him money, you dolt.

I've dug a bit into what he claims his business name DSP enterprises is. There is an LLC registered in Seattle called DSP enterprises. However the owner (governor) of that company is not Phil. Now, this could mean that Phil has registered DSP enterprises as a sole proprietorship (which are VERY difficult to track down because they're not required to register at a state level, only at a federal level for their tax ID)
Now, what does this mean, does this mean that Phil is using a shell company? Not necessarily. With sole proprietorships they can name themselves whatever they want within reason. You cannot name yourself a trademarked name, but as far as I've found, DSP Enterprises is not a trademarked name like Apple or Starbucks.
However using the DSP Enterprises business name, the LLC could challenge Phil's usage of the name as they're both in the same geographical area. The DSP Enterprises could challenge Phil, however since they seem to not do business in the same genre. Phil being entertainment and the LLC seeming to be something to do with timeshares in California.

Considering Phil does seem to do his taxes as a self employed individual doing the quarterly estimated taxes, the sole proprietorship doing business as DSP Enterprises does seem to make sense. These sole proprietorships can obtain credit in the business' name, they have their own tax ID number, but unlike an LLC they dont have the protection of their assets should the business fail or should the business be sued. In a sole proprietorship, the individual and the company are one individual. For more information on sole proprietorships https://definitions.uslegal.com/s/sole-proprietorship/

It's worth noting that, to normal people, DSP stands for something other than Darksydephil. This is Seattle, so I'm gonna assume it has something to do with digital signal processing. I think you're reaching.

Edit I missed a whole page, sorry

Ever since youtube changed their search algorithm in like 2012 to filter Phil's spammy, garbage-quality videos, Phil has held the belief that youtube "illegally harmed his business". He believes to this day that he was entitled to that 6 figure salary for the rest of his life as long as he kept shitting out the same amount of kahntent, and that it is youtube's "incompetence" and not his own failures as a content creator that caused his downward spiral. This whole "youtube is criminal" thing originates from there with him - from his complete inability to accept the fact that he's a fucking moron who sunk his own ship by failing to change and by making stupid decisions.

Currently you see a lot of youtubers whining that their businesses are being hurt by recent overhauls to advertisement income distribution and the such, and Phil is just hopping on the bandwagon. However, his beef with youtube goes back way further than the past year of changes on the platform. He's still mad that his channel has fallen to shit ever since 2012, and delusional potato that he is, blames youtube for everything. He believes this recent rally of asshurt "professional youtubers" only proves that it was youtube, not him, who was fucking up all along.

All-in-all, Phil being Phil - a repulsive man-child who cannot accept responsibility for fucking anything. Seeing him get kicked off of twitch would be a phenomenal thing, and I can only hope that day comes eventually, just for the incredible, unprecedented bitching that would follow. He's long overdue for a reality check.

Incorrect. He got $200 in tips and still did his full patreon beg mode.
As I just said on Twitter, it's proof that no matter how much his exceptional fans give him, it will never be enough to satisfy his greedy ass.
