Fuzzy memory though, but I remember seeing a movie of it which also had Middle School kids. It also followed with much of the book without the piggy diddling. Why are books always coked up?Which only made it more horrifying when they started murdering each other and fucking a pig up the ass with a makeshift dildo.
In fact, the whole book was showing what would happen if you stripped all civilization and civilizing influences away from people (a bunch of young boys in the original book) who would otherwise turn on each other if you didn't and showed the terrible results.
With that in mind, I hope the cast is packed to the gills with SJW stereotypes and it follows the original plot as faithfully as possible anyway, the salt geysers would breach the atmosphere.
Because there's no MPAA rating system for books.Fuzzy memory though, but I remember seeing a movie of it which also had Middle School kids. It also followed with much of the book without the piggy diddling. Why are books always coked up?
I love how the only example he could give of this happening was from a fictional film and the women in question aren't even human.

Oh god this made me laugh out loud.
I'm pretty sure most universities offer female-only dorms, so the girls can have their own space in which to put aside their differences and life together in peace, understanding, and mutual support of each other in all things.
That IS what happens in girls' dorms, right?
"Things I didn't know I wanted and would pay good money to see."I cant wait for 300 to be remade with an all female cast

If they're pandering to Tumblrites this much, Piggy will be a beautiful thin girl while still being called fat because some HAES bullshit. I never liked Lord of the Flies, and I think the concept of taking anything and just replacing all the men with women is stupid.Would they keep Piggy's name and let her be "the fat girl that dies"?This is a train wreck right from the start.
In regards to the tweets: Good way to miss the point and be delusional in thinking an all-female cast means being unified since this person wouldn't realize the book being about the loss of civilization and how people descend into being nothing more than mad, violent animals wearing clothes.View attachment 272003
Also, a "female version of Lord of the Flies" was apparently a popular concept for student film projects.
Anybody remember that reality survival show that had the men and women sex segregated? Only for the women to be lazy, do nothing, and in the end they had to ask some of the men to come over and help the women?http://deadline.com/2017/08/lord-of...warner-bros-william-golding-novel-1202158421/
Scott McGehee & David Siegel have made a deal at Warner Bros to write and direct a new version of Lord Of The Flies, based on the iconic William Golding novel. They plan to be faithful to the novel with one major twist: the young students stranded on a remote island who descend into a savage social order will be girls.
It is an intriguing take on a novel that was most famously turned into a 1963 film by Peter Brook. It was later turned into a 1990 Castle Rock film by director Harry Hook, which is how Warner Bros wound up with some of the rights. McGehee & Siegel last directed the 2012 drama What Maisie Knew, and before that Bee Season and The Deep End. They are very good at depicting traumatic events and stories seen through youthful eyes. They told Deadline they are big fans of Brook’s original film, but thought a new contemporized version felt timely. It took awhile for Warner Bros and their ICM Partners reps to work out the rights issues with the author’s estate. That just happened, and they have just closed their deals and will begin writing immediately.
“We want to do a very faithful but contemporized adaptation of the book, but our idea was to do it with all girls rather than boys,” Siegel told Deadline. “It is a timeless story that is especially relevant today, with the interpersonal conflicts and bullying, and the idea of children forming a society and replicating the behavior they saw in grownups before they were marooned.”
McGehee said the subject matter “is aggressively suspenseful, and taking the opportunity to tell it in a way it hasn’t been told before, with girls rather than boys, is that it shifts things in a way that might help people see the story anew. It breaks away from some of the conventions, the ways we think of boys and aggression. People still talk about the movie and the book from the standpoint of pure storytelling,” he said. “It is a great adventure story, real entertainment, but it has a lot of meaning embedded in it as well. We’ve gotten to think about this awhile as the rights were worked out, and we’re super eager to put pen to paper.”

So, at the end of my :autism: rambling, I ask the question: is this push for female characters in media degrading female characters in media?
The fact that the fat kid dies would enrage them alone.Which only made it more horrifying when they started murdering each other and fucking a pig up the ass with a makeshift dildo.

What they should do, to reach maximum salt, is have it start were all the girls are getting along and trying to build a perfect society and be all girrl power and shit. Then just like real life someone decides to be an asshole and start a fight over petty shit and then the rest of the movie is everything just falling apart.
Oh, and if they set it in a "modern" setting, they need to have at least one girl suffering from extreme internet withdrawal and get progressively more insane as the film progresses.
