I think because it's the main public display of the monetary success or failure of his business and he can use it to justify his begging or silence his detractors (though that's just posturing for his sycophants and never actually works).

He won't be doing that this month, he found an out. He doesn't like coming up with new Patreon goals anyways, so he'll just repeat the same Halloween goal next month. Why the fuck he started a 10/31 Halloween goal on 8/1 is baffling. Next month he 100% will "Good news guys, we hit the goal!"

If he repeats the goal, it's just showing how there's no effort in his Patreon. This goal should have been September's, like always. What makes him think it will get hit this month if it seemingly massively fell flat in August?

Seems like Vidar's gonna have to really pick up the slack this month.

They're probably too busy at school to grovel or secretly use their parents' CC. I guarantee his streams are going to be worse than his current patreon since school has started by now in most of the country.

Him telling his followers not to be "gullible sheep" insults his fan base. Its these sheep that contribute to his "emergency videos." He claims youtube is toxic because of the comment's section. He can't reply to factual accusations, so instead of elucidating, he digs his heels in, covers his ears, and screams "don't be a sheep...listen to me, human beings." I give it a few months, when twitch tips/subs/cheers are low, that he'll be criticizing twitch just the same.
