Rafe is emotionally cheating on Hannah right in front of her! She and Amber are two peas in a pod.
How long until the scandal of Rafe and AL having an affair?

I agree, I think Rafe has a real trauma background and AL is a bullshit artist. AL might have addict parents but she plays up the specifics and paints it as much worse than it was while peppering in fake stuff (the sexual abuse by a "family member" is one that I think is fake). I feel bad for laughing at Rafe when she cried yesterday, but seeing it live was kind of jarring and awkward. AL's face when it happened was borderline amused, she ducked out of the frame because I think she was laughing at her, too.I think we need to revisit the "hater" that said all fat girls use abuse as an excuse. Compare AL and Rafe's reactions. AL basically gave no reaction, but Rafe yelled out "FUCK YOU." That tells me that Rafe actually was abused. To be that defensive that quickly after reading it... It just doesn't seem fake to me.
I can't remember who mentioned Rafe only talking about her parents nicely, but I believe there's a younow where Rafe talks about her parents dying and she mentions hating her dad. If I can find it (if Cxnt recorded it) I'll edit and link it.
EDIT: I want to add that I think all these people go along with AL because in their world she's a mini celebrity.
Er.....am I missing something?
I just sat thru ten minutes of the screech-fest with Rafe (longest I've ever lasted. @cxnt is a true hero) and Rafe says "Rarity and Wasabi are in the back" - after Al ignores a ton of q's about her.
But that makes no sense. According to the FlumpyFibber, she only gave Rarity to HnR to "babysit" (well, she flubs it, but that's the story she settled on telling in her last vid after tying herself in knots.) So why is Wasabi there? I reckon Rafe just blew the story, unless we're supposed to believe that, having uprooted Wasabi and stuck him in a new place with new people and dogs, she took him on a visit to Rarity. And we don't believe that because it's cretinously ridiculous.
But this is you - cretinously ridiculous does have to be considered. So choose, Amber. Either both cats are dumped there....or you are toting poor Wasabi around like a bloody handbag instead of leaving the poor creature to settle into his new - unwanted, unnecessary - home in peace. Choose. Liar or even worse pet owner than we thought. Which? You backed yourself into this corner...
My money is on both dumped on RnH.
In this video she says that she can't do things other normal 25 year olds can do. She is eating herself to death and because she has ADD she can't stick to anything that's why she is vegan for a day and quits, why she does diets for a day and quits.

Agreed. If AL's abuse by a family member was real, she would've chimed in and added that before Rafe would've had the opportunity to finish her story.

This video is dumb, but one thing that is extra stupid about it is AL's defense of reading YA books at 25 years old, and I'm sure she'd still stand by it at 26 and next year at 27.
Because the definition of young adult is "a person between the ages of 18 to 35" she smugly defends it as something she shouldn't be ashamed to read them. Which is exceptionally dumb. Anyone who has ever been in contact with a YA book can tell you that for at least 90% of the genre, high school girls are the main demographic. It's not the definition of young adult, but the actual cut-off for reading YA books is something from 15 to 25.
The real frustrating thing about her being so smug about it is her writing level isn't even at bargain bin YA book level, so how can she read all this shit and not even take anything away from it?
Our girl did in fact relay to us once her harrowing experience of falling in the shower and needing Destiny's help to get her back on her hooves. I can't remember the video but she said it was very embarrassing.I might be hallucinating this, but does anyone remember anything about her falling over and it taking Destiny forever to get her back on her feet again?
I might be confusing it with someone else or another story, I just have this nagging idea in the back of my mind - either she fell in the shower, or fell elsewhere which made her "so scaaaaayuuurd, you guize" that she would eventually do so (tho not scared enough to do anything, obvs.) It's driving me nuts...
Any ideas? Or have I been sniffing the cat-box again?
I think I remember her saying something to that effect in one of her "watch me clean" videos, explaining why Destiny was now the designated mop shuffler.I might be hallucinating this, but does anyone remember anything about her falling over and it taking Destiny forever to get her back on her feet again?

I've always assumed early High School was the real cut off for YA books. Sure, you can (and plenty of ppl do) read them for fluff and fun when older but seriously the target audience is in middle school, very early high school. When I was that age (12-15) YA books weren't nearly as big as a thing as it is now, so my YA reading was Stephen King, Tolkien, Mario Puzo (basically storyteller authors) - and I was in a hurry to get to "important" adult literature too.
In the same video I'm commenting on, another weird thing she says is "I wish Danielle Steel wrote for younger audiences so more people could read her books."
You know.... it's okay to read outside of your age demographic, AL... it really is... it's actually kind of encouraged.
