That is one of the worst things I've noticed about Amber. She expects people to repeat themselves with the hopes that their statements become sanitized and palatable to her, but when someone is repeating something she doesn't like to hear, she commences the patronizing, insulting guilt trips and manipulation.

Wow, it was incredibly hard to read through those text messages and to see firsthand how terrible Hamber really is. It's obvious she was lying just solely by the fact that she was constantly making excuses for absolutely everything, and how detailed her excuses were! To see her treat her aunt like that makes my view of her deteriorate even more, didn't think it was possible after the Rarity situation. I don't think she'll ever wake up from her delusions and do what she needs to do, sadly.

Edit: Also, this has already been talked about but seeing Amber talk over Rafe and give her those dirty looks in that last Younow made me quite uncomfortable. She really seems to have a hold over Rafe which again makes me wonder how in the hell she manipulates people so easily. Experience, i'm guessing.

I have BED. I have been diagnosed and am in treatment. Every fucking day is exhausting and difficult. I pay out of my ass for it, even with health insurance. She was only part-time at the nursing home(she lied she was full-time, but later admitted to only working 4 hour shifts, volunteering, and waiting for Density who was full-time).
So did she works full-time at a Hallmark? Ands how did that work? And it was inside a Wal-Mart? Sorry, can't imagine her doing a 60 hour week.

She knows damn well that eating 3k calories per day is insane and only maintains her current weight, or maybe in her delusions she thinks she'll lose 2 lbs a week if she eats 3k calories a day. If she took the medical advice constantly given on 600 lbs life show, and eat 1200 calories per day, the weight would fucking melt off her. Most of the patients on My 600 lb life go over 1200 day but even when they just try to keep it under 2000k a day the weight drops off of them. The patients who actually put effort into managing their diet lose 30 to 50 lbs in one month.

It's even scarier to think that she probably well surpasses 3K a day most days, 3k calories is a GOAL and gurl has been packing on the pounds recently so she's probably closer to 5k or more per day. Boggles the mind.

Hallmark and Walmart was where Tammie worked, not Amber. Also, I think Amber got paid every two weeks, so she likely worked only 30 hours/3 days a week.

My guess would be an online TDEE calculator for weight loss. I did a quick search and it recommended over 3,000 cals/day for weight loss. Of course, I put in moderately active, because that's what AL would choose as her activity level.
