The thing is that, to Chris, the loss is not proven as far as Chris can tell.

Chris started ignoring trolls when it was obvious he wouldn't win. He's gotten enough asspatting on twitter that he thinks he's got a fighting chance in winning people to his side.

Of course, there's plenty of weens who are eroding Chris' confidence in twitter. So he'll eventually lose faith and go quiet. (Aside from posts automatically mirrored from facebook or where ever.)

So whine about people making fun of you, engage with trolls, send death threats and insults that look like something you'd see a bitchy 14 year old girl say. Also make personal army demands.

In the end she only got her ass saved from herself because she is verified and has connections and so twitter gave her priority. They stepped and blamed/banned some famous guy (Milo) that had little to do with it and used it all as an excuse to perma-ban him finally and set an example.

Yeah, this is the really important part in my mind. Like, he is still holding out hope about Doppie even after everything that has happened.

I guess we all need to think we aren't total failures in order to go to sleep at night, but at a certain point you just have to face facts when other people, especially when they have clearly and explicitly refused your creepy advances of "friendship"
