Today I learned there are plenty of furries defending this man, saying that he's a victim of fursecution and the salt is glorious. Furries are blaming fursecution and the media instead of the fact he was into some stuff that would scare off quite a few people:

Think of it in the normal person mindset. They're not going to know what the hell ageplay is without going on UrbanDictionary or googling it, and they mostly only go to a few websites such as the MSN Frontpage, Yahoo mail, and Facebook.

Rape on the other hand, everyone knows what that word means. You don't need to lurk internet subcultures to know what rape means.

normally art callouts between a rando and an artist are motivated by the rando soliciting art from the artist being told "no" or a price too high for the rando to pay leading the rando to retaliate. I kinda get that feeling when seeing the "lengths" the furry went to.

OK, there seriously needs to be a term for this sort of thing where people conveniently ignore the bad behavior of Person A just because Person B technically shouldn't know about it.
