Their own website actively gives permission to makes videos and monetize them.

If they're not cowards and actively do DMCA this, and PDP countersues, I'm pretty sure he'd annihilate them. Especially now that H3H3 won in court and have set a precedent with regards to these kinda things.

Felix has money to do almost anything he want, people seem to forget he is actually a millionaire and even his worst case scenario wouldn't be bad enough. He might lose sponsors and money from some videos but this collective idea that "Pewdiepie is over" is absurd lol.

That doesn't even matter because game developers don't have a legal privilege to pick and choose who gets to upload transformative works involving their shit. The very definition of fair use is being able to use creative works in certain contexts without permission from the copyright holder. I hope his "attorneys" have more sense than he does or else he's in for a legal thrashing. It's not as if Pewdiepie doesn't have big time lawyer money.

It took a while for these devs to do something this stupid, I was expecting it but it took way longer than I expected.

Edit: Oh and people are defending this essentially saying "because PDP said a bad word the fair use laws no longer apply to him" or some other complete rubbish.
