Neogaf's thread on this is honestly going to be larger than terror attacks in a first world country that killed 20 people .....

That's been obvious for a while. A few days ago a music website published testimony from a rapper's ex-girlfriend where she claimed, among other things, that he once tried to forcefully abort her pregnancy with a pitchfork. This isn't the first time this guy's had problems with the law. His album, which came out last month and debuted at #2 on Billboard, is still carried by every major online retailer. He still has a contract with a major record label. As far as I can tell, there's no movement to ensure he no longer has a career like there is with YouTubers who say the wrong thing.

The Neogaf thread on the rapper died before 130 posts. That still was enough to get someone defending the guy.

The most recent offense, which saw him beat up his girlfriend so hard parts of her flesh became discolored, was in October 2016. Hey, he's only 19. He doesn't know you're not supposed to beat your loved ones up within an inch of their life. Plus, he's said some nice stuff on Twitter and in his new music, so clearly he's completely changed in less than a year.

Even though Neogaf bans people for anything, he still has an account.

She's likely mixed, but still, coal burners paying the toll. She actually dumped her ex (whose mother came to her rescue) the same day she met this rapper.
I wonder why no one is using their energy on the XXXTentacion case, but instead it's all directed towards PewDiePie? It's because XXXTentacion is a black, young adult. The the media is hesitant on putting out opinion pieces about this terrible news, they're just releasing facts. Kendrick Lamar and Lil Yachty are both promoting XXX's new album, even after this news and knowing of the previous accounts of his arrests.
PewDiePie didn't kill anybody or brutally beat anybody, he just said a word. People have to stop giving the word so much power. Especially these white kids who want to be the poster child for social justice. I have seen a couple black people say it's not that serious and they're being bullied. On top of all this, there's already dozens of opinion pieces and tweet threads about just this 13 second incident, and they're blowing it out of proportion saying this is the mind of every gamer.
Honestly, I'd love it if there were more news about XXXTentacion's bad doings. I'm definitely sure he has more mainstream attention compared to PewDiePie, AND he's still able to tour despite all this. It was the same way when R. Kelly news came back and Bill Cosby news did too, scarce opinion pieces and articles. Actually, I remember people becoming uncomfortable with all the Bill Cosby news because they equated talking negatively about him meant it was directed towards every black man.
Identity politics was definitely a mistake.

super late but i love how sean's saying that felix "does real damage to the culture around this industry" and is personally going out of his way to ruin his fucking career even though he's just a pretentious hack who shat out another lame ass walking sim that nobody'll remember in 5 years

the sad thing is felix probably made more money off of screaming at video games on the internet than sean did at actually making one

Doing damage to the culture of the industry? Like PewDiePie would be the only thing that done "damage" unlike 13 year olds that used Xbox Live since 2008. In all seriousness, The dude is just being an overly-anal idiot who may as well be trying to cash in on the controversy. Much as how he can claim he'll reach out to other developers, not all of them are really going to give a fuck about PewDiePie.

And considering how these guys are doing this #PewDiePieisover shit, they should realize that if you really do want a Swedish manchild to crash and burn, they'd have to actually do something that can affect his revenue rather than just be salty on Twitter.

The problem is that these spergs chose a target too big for them to handle. Say they get him banned from Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Twitch and every other major social media platform. The moment he joins a competing site (as long as it's not subscription based) he'll be directing millions of people to watch his stuff there. The press, unable to resist a click, will cover wherever he goes to. The competition suddenly gets legitimized.

Well, if this follows the trend of last time, Felix's friends like Markiplier and such will come out and reaffirm that, as people who know and are friends with him, Felix is not a racist.

People will then once again claim Markiplier is a white supremacist because of this.
what about a top 10 anime betrayal with mark and sean(jacksepticeye) deciding to break their friendship with felix?
