Zaush has a few things going for him that help him out, verses the usual stereotypical furry artist:

1. He's relatively attractive. This is a big plus in the furry fandom. Not balding, no Cheetos/Dew body type, no weird proportions to your anatomy (minus dick size) and you're pretty much a shoe in for any furry fan. Look at Jay Naylor; Noodle arm body, manlet, but not a complete train wreck. He still gets the gals.

2. Personality. While yes, he does go into sperg county, he's not a resident, so that by there promotes the "mature and responsible" mindset, in addition to the "Maybe holding down a non name-tag job", which is a big plus.

3. Good artist. There are a lot of artists out there, but by large, most settle into a niche and stay there. Zaush kind of has branched out, either by his own fetishes or glomming onto more popular furry folks' fetishes. Art also means money, lots of money. When you're neeting in your parent's basement in your carpetsuit, you look up to the people that can shit out a picture, get paid ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS or MORE, and think that person is Godbear incarnate.

4. The rape thing actually increased his popularity. Despite the purposed loathing of cub stuff, the accusations haven't done much to hurt his popularity. With most furries, a dom is a good thing. Not only did this guy land some non landwhale, but actually forced himself on her, and there wasn't police involvement goes a long way with a lot of their fetishes.

Adam is a man in his 30s living in California that draws furry art for a living. He quit his job at Apple to do fulltime furry art ala Patreon. How is one able to make rent in CA of all places solely off furry art? Why, being one of the most popular figures in the fandom, of course.

A quick glance at his FA account reveals that he has over 72k watches (a considerable number for FA) and his Twitter has over 14k follows which is impressive for a furry.

He's been in the fandom for over 12 years, if not more.

I would like to use @nonnewtonian's blurb on him in the Dragoneer thread as a jumping off point, and also because that Dragoneer thread is so well done it's going to put mine to shame. This covers the rape accusation in which Zaush coerced a young woman to sleep with him along with his general assholery regarding a site rewrite for Furaffinity.



There is a little more to the Ferality story, as Zaush felt the need to make a public statement as to why he was innocent in the matter. But not before making these tweets prior.

There are claims from other furry artists such as Littlebluewolf and Rainbowjokerhound that Zaush had attempted to invite them to his loveshack before, but I cannot find those screenshots. Not since Vivisector died anyway.

Zaush doesn't seem to have a good track record with women period. He was dating another furry artist named Keovi for the longest time, but got cucked and lost her to another furry named Cinnamon.

There's another suspect comic in his FA gallery, though. It is controversial in that it not only features more cucking and even incest, but the dog girls look suspiciously not of age.

Pointing this out to Zaush will just make him shrug. It's obvious he can get away with posting borderline cub porn as he's too valuable an asset to the site and Dragoneer. Zaush has drawn outright cub before and even has an Inkbunny, he knows exactly what he's doing and getting away with.

What's troubling is Zaush doesn't seem to care if his pornographic artwork is seen by children, as evidenced by this Twitter snapshot when he was uploading graphic Zootopia porn to the official tag months before the movie's release.

There are rumors he began to date his current girlfriend (run girl, run) when she was 17. Claims seem dubious but it doesn't excuse the fact there's at least a 10 year age gap between them. It is more than likely she's dating him for popularity.

A prior girlfriend was Hoot who despite all the warnings of her friends decided to suck his azn cock. Again, popularity and status in the furry fandom of all things. Their relationship lasted for a month before Zaush apparently did something to completely turn her off. To this day she pretends she never dated him. It should be noted she is a bit of a cow herself, but that's for another day.

Zaush has a big ego and as such charges exuberant amounts for his commissions. Though he says on his FA profile he does not take them, he will if the price is right. Just be prepared to buck up $500-1k, though I heard this rumor through the grapevine. Of course because he's popular he gets away with it.

There was an incident in which he tried to sell a sculpture of his own character for $500 but had a hissy fit when the auction only got to $300. More on that and some other older drama is on his Encyclopedia Dramatica page

I do not see Adam leaving the fandom any time soon as long as there is adoration and money to be made.

Zaush is a fucking legend.

Few furries are capable of causing this much drama and this much lunacy for so very long through simply fucking existing.

The dude has spawned multiple communities devoted to exposing his more questionable escapades, including FurryScumbags (before Vade took it over). I would highly recommend checking out their archives sometime, since Zaush hasn't really bothered to cover his tracks. If possible, I'll provide some links when I get home.

Hey, if you can make the money, enjoy doing it, and wind up with more free time, why not? I'd imagine working for Apple you'd be pretty busy.

Plus this puts him in a position where his furry porn pasttime won't have the possibility of getting him in trouble at his job. Since it is his job. Most companies probably wouldn't want to be associated with such porn if it were discovered.

Old friend of my used to get $300 to $500 for his work. He mostly did comic book style art on 11" by 14" paper. I could make up towards $2000 on 22" by 28" (posterboard size) doing nature scenes back when I could still draw and people had money to spend or up to $500 doing portraits and full body artwork. Same work today for my friend would only make $100 max so he doesn't do a lot artwork today. I haven't done much art in over a decade so I don't know how much my stuff would sell today.

In fact I'm fairly confident that Sibe runs this parody account of Zaush, given how he seems to substantially interact with it, but I can't say for certain.

There are some popufurs he has a more positive relationship with tho, Jasonafex still seems to like him and white knighted him over the abovementioned nigger scandal.

I mean... there's Togepi1125 the Star Fox macro porn guy. One of the best lawyers/doctors (I don't remember which one it is) in Hong Kong, literally a fucking millionare, has spent literally millions of dollars on macro porn. And that's not even an exaggeration.

But I remember seeing this guy's art floating around on the furry porn part of Tumblr (in like 2013-2014). Didn't think he was so fucking weird besides the 1 incest comic with the dogs.
