So, speaking of Chip, I've been listening to the extra life stream that Chip and co. did a few weeks back. For those unaware, it's all animal based games. It was also just 24 hours and given that it was work background noise, I didn't think to timestamp anything. There's also long stretches of nothing overly entertaining happening cow wise, but there were a couple of gems:
VB doing her best not to full on sperg out about basically any game where you play as a dog and the cats are villains. There was one game early on, I believe dog's life, which was particularly entertaining. She even had a "cats are always portrayed as villains" mini rant similar to her former spergouts on the subject. She also made a ton of passive aggressive jabs at people who liked dogs. What really made it funny was the fact that Ironicus's wife is apparently unaware of how oppressed cats are in popular media and is very open about being a fan of those awful fascist dogs. She and Ironicus apparently got a dog recently, so they were both basically talking about how great dogs are while VB sulked and made passive aggressive remarks.
Either Ironicus or VB brought up the microphone incident again. It was a brief little jab that didn't get followed up on, I think it was basically "this is pointless, like complaining about Yeti" or whatever.
Much later in the stream, a tired VB went on a weird "joking" tirade about a game mansplaining the tutorial. It was definitely an exaggeration, but the overall undertones were video games are sexist.
Ironicus and VB had a mini Notch rant, but they reigned it in before it developed into a full on conversation. Ironicus also had a few jabs at Trump, but again, he reigned himself in.
I still have several more hours to burn through, but VB getting pissy about cats was definitely the highlight as far as cowish material goes. Overall, they were all pretty chill, at least as long as they were playing a game that didn't feature cats as a villain. It definitely felt like they were on their best behavior given that it was a charity stream.
