Nah it was coincidental, the symbol is a rank insignia bordered on facing the four bars being mirrored, if it wasn't green no one would of realised. The KEKistan flag is a design based on other hate flags with only a color shift. And honestly getting rid of it is a good idea, because more annoying spergs would wear it to be edgy in game.

From what I understand happened is that after the Cville events a bunch of alt-right people (Richard Spencer the most notable ) who were supposed to speak canceled to avoid backlash and the few people that showed up left after 40 minutes and then the Anti-GMO people swarmed in like fungus to a rotting log
