He may have left out some of the conversation with the neighbor about his "business" which is not and never has been a "business."

Gouty Power Washer: Have you <snort> heard me working?
Neighbor: Not lately. What do you do?
Fat Lonely Buffoon: Well, I used to <snort> work at a helicopter factory, but they were all idiots <snort> and were threatened by my street smarts, so I got laid off. Since I was the greatest <snort> fighting game player in the US, I started streaming as a business...(10 minutes pass)...changed the <snort> algorithm, and damaged my business...(10 minutes pass)...moved to Washington <snort> to cure my gout and help my business since this state is less expensive for businesses like the one I have and run from home...(10 minutes pass)...my business was nearly destroyed when detractors made <snort> false copyright strikes...(10 minutes pass)...so I can write off my office since it's where <snort> all the business happens for my business which I run <snort> from my house in my office...(10 minutes pass)...so my business has been successful for 8 plus years now <snort> due my hard work at my business.
Neighbor: I've got to run...bye (briskly walks to her door)

Just speculating, but I think I'm mostly right.

Jesus look at this. Phil's mom is active in the community helping kids with special needs. His father was a teacher, and wasn't he in local politics also? Then we have Phil...what the fuck can you even say? Imagine the shame if they saw ONE of his begging videos only to find out he has begged almost daily for the past 2+ years. Who knows maybe they are sketchy people who applaud Phil screwing kids out of their money, but it is really hard to imagine anyone being proud of having a son leeching off of society like Dsp does.

Unrelated Edit: Was trying to find info on Phil's HOA but nothing yet. However a few people have sold their condos this year and they have all gotten $350,000-$360,000. Make of this what you will.

It's a federal law in the United States that a homeowner need disclose to prospective buyers when an occupant of the house has contracted gout while under its roof; one needs to factor that into the selling price. That, and the black mould and the Miss Havisham levels of dust and disuse.

I guess that's why nobody talks about his parents too much: unlike him, they seem to be decent people that should be left alone.

Constantly cries about the other player "spamming moves" when he's playing fucking Marvel. Marvel has always been crazy so him crying about "spam" is just weirdly funny. I think he might just have early stage Alzheimers. Reminder: he played the other games extensively:

They would if it entailed you constantly having cars coming and going and taking up spaces and making a racket. Also, fairly often, spiteful neighbors will complain about some business vehicle like a van.

And in Phil's case, he could have been routinely annoying his neighbors with loud videogame noises and swearing and yelling offensive things.

And then when they asked him to keep it down, he told them "get over it dood it's soundproofed this is my BUSINESS you dumb detractor child!"

It's really sad that his ~65 year old parents get out and socialize more than a 28-35 year old guy does. Oh and you can bet they get way more exercise too. SAD

Re: Marvel vs Capcom Infinite. It's no surprise he hates the game already. He was really enjoying the game during story mode and combo training mode, but once he jumped on line and started getting bopped his whole opinion flipped. It's really child-like how his opinion is so easily influenced on whether he wins or loses at a game.
He says he prefers Dragon Ball FighterZ because it's "more intelligent" and has "better netcode". Dude's basing this off of 2 hours of MvCI and 1 day of DBZF, okay then. Almost everybody has said MvCI's netcode is really good and DSP was having some bad lag issues with DBZF, so this is another case of DSP always having terrible internet.

I hear Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite is damn good game (and a continuation of such with said series, overall.). Of course Phil hates it because he clear-as-day fucking sucks at fighting games in general, much more than those who are legit beginners at them do.

Just me preaching to the choir; carry on - however, I'd love it if we got some TIHYDP vids, soon. I could use a good laugh.

Sorry for going off-topic, but goddamn, you're even bolding the game title. I've never seen a post that looks so much like a disguised shilling attempt before. It might not be, but you sure made it look like one.

Phil's lack of fighting game skills notwithstanding, the game has had an absolutely atrocious leadup to launch with clumsy developer quotes in interviews, incredibly subpar graphics, content derivative of earlier games in the series (but way less plentiful), DLC characters shown in trailers as early as 9 months (!) before the game's release and generally disappointing roster choices even with the 90% returning cast, but I've heard the gameplay itself is generally pretty good. I haven't played it myself though.

Yeah - I'll apologize by admitting I'm sure what I heard wasn't completely true and thanks for letting me know some things upfront about what's truly being said about the damn thing. Then again, I don't keep up too much with the latest video games, as it is. Off topic: Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will always be best MvC game, IMHO...
