I've watched all 6 episodes, and I don't think I've seen a show quite as oblivious as this in a while. When the voice acting isn't completely flat, the animation makes up for it by having no dynamic facial expressions or movements on any of the characters. The accents some of them are attempting bring back memories of 4kids (especially the pop star's thick southern one) and nobody reacts to the demon attacks with any fear, so why should we be interested when the characters aren't?

As for positives, this is a great show to laugh at and riff to, I suppose Charles is OK despite being distractingly over-designed, giant toblerones, and "Shakespeare's arse" is used as an expletive.

I made it through about 2 1/2 episodes. Here's my list of Top Ten Things That Could Have Saved Neo Yokio:

10. Nothing, realistically.
9. Some kind of explanation about what the fuck Jaden Smith's powers even are.
8. An OP that doesn't suck poopy ass dicks.
7. Animation that doesn't look like it was done in a sweatshop
6. Real voice actors.
5. Team Four Star.
4. Team Four Star.
3. Team Four Star.
2. Team Four Star.
1. Making the mecha butler more like Bender.

I made it halfway through the first and I think if they played the camp feeling it has up way more it had the potential to be way more entertaining. The animation is super bare-bones though, it's super boring to look at too.

I was just so baffled because I could never tell if the show was making fun of rich assholes or if it's just that oblivious. The fact that the episodes are so poorly structured doesn't help my confidence.

Has anyone mentioned yet that becoming Neo Yokio's "most eligible bachelor" isn't just a cheesey hook? There is a literal "bachelor board" up in the Times Square knock-off of Neo Yokio that ranks young single men in Neo Yokio's high society from 1st to 10th and updates in real time. They say being number 1 is an honor, which seems to imply that the most important person in Neo Yokio is a handsome and rich asexual or maybe just an incel. No one ever explains the criteria for being on the board.

Is the guy who gets turned into a girl for one episode the same guy who uses the word "fuckboy" in the trailer? If so, I would help a fund a seventh episode if it included a scene of him getting kicked in the nuts.
