Alison wasn't always ugly. In fact, she was downright cute in her childhood pics. Sure, she's goofy looking in the swimsuit one, but that's likely just due to early puberty and she's nowhere near as bad as now.

So, what happened? My theory is weight distribution. When she has more meat on her face she looks fine, but when she loses too much she gets the witch chin. Her weight loss might be due to drugs now, but if she manages to put on a few pounds it could improve her appearance a lot.
