I must admit, I really like Kokona, and I really like her in that video, even if it had some flaws.

He definitely shouldn't have been focusing his time on a video, but the artstyle wasn't too hentai-ish and for once I enjoyed watching something related to Yandere Simulator, since the focus wasn't entirely on Ayano.

Slightly disappointed Kokona wasn't able to get away with it, it would've made it very interesting to see how it'd affect her - an actual human, unlike Ayano who's predictable and kinda boring at this point.

Because from what I remember, it is due sometime in October (lol) and we aren't even getting any videos describing what he has achieved in terms of finishing her. It isn't early, YandereDev just separated the scenario of the concept from his update video, it allows him to make more money and build up hype for his game.
I won't be surprised if he includes the scenario again in the update video, but he'll most likely tell people to watch the video or they won't understand the update video.
This insures he'll make more money from the video, and it also increases overall watch-time across his videos.

This is just an explanation of why separating the scenario is a smart move other than for monetary gain.

YouTube's "algorithm" (it's a neural network but the majority believe it's an algorithm) likes videos which led to long watch sessions(videos being watched back-to-back), and heavily pushes videos with adverts. YouTubers have noticed when they disable adverts on their videos their overall viewership drops as YouTube doesn't push the video as much (it isn't profitable for them so they push content with adverts leading to a drop in views).

YandereDev appeals to their "algorithm" by separating the scenario of the concept from his update video, overall smart move.

I've never watched one of his videos before, this was my first time so I presume all the other are equal. if not, just ignore my post.

The video is basicaly a bunch of stills, a slideshow of the storyboard. Now here is my question: Why he says it takes 1 hour to produce 1 minute of video? I can make it on Adobe Premiere in 15 minutes, the whole thing. I know this because I've already done that before. He is beyond lazy (or a professional liar).
