Since I'm now on KiwiFarms, I might as well post my monthly summaries here too. Spoiler tags because this is going to be a huge post.

DSPGaming for September 2017 hits a record low of 1.58mn monthly views, down ~270K since last month, new record worst month below February 2017's 1.63mn.

Honestly, I'm don't understand how he's reaching more than a million viewers a month when his videos only pick up a couple of hundred viewers a piece.

He has 45,000 videos uploaded. It's what's called "passive views" meaning content that has been on YouTube for months and years which requires no further attention on the content creator's part will continue to generate views and revenue.
It's how people like Angry Joe consistently hover in the same average views per month range even after their popularity begins to wane. Viewers watching older videos.

Today's prestream
  • He started early today, I missed a good chunk of from whatever time he started at
  • Complaining that he normally has a big increase in income (presumably from YouTube) but he's not sure he'll get it this year
  • "Ad revenue is garbage in January"
  • "Now we're heading into the busiest time of the year"
  • 100% official that he hit da patreon goal
  • Only 3 people got declined on patreon, Phil made it sound like achievement of the year
  • He thinks that because he was so worried about declined pledges, that people actually went and made sure their shit was working
  • He's gonna email people tonight on patreon about their upgrades etc
  • Won't upgrade them till next weekend
  • Says people will be able to vote for halloween games in mid-october
  • Says he's not even joking, he withdrew da money, then put it in his paypal and within a business day it will go straight to bills
    • On a previous prestream he said that he didn't even have enough to buy da halloween costume, so he made it sound like the Patreon would pay for this. but apparently its going to da bills.
  • He's gonna go to a bunch of costume stores in his local area (it's Phil so I'm guessing he's just going to go to a single store) and will come up with a few lists etc that people can vote for in terms of category
  • He has 3 ideas for this months patreon
    • Multiplayer event (he wants to schedule it for December, because November is too busy with his AAA game playthrough bullshit)
    • PUBG event (marathon for 7+ hours). PC only, but Phil is counting on it being released on console some time soon (good luck buddy!). He's complaining about being unable to play/record/stream at the same time on his PC yet again. "It chops up!". He's discussing the possibility of just streaming via twitch and not recording at the same time on his PC and then put da episodes on twitch but of course he's complaining about it.
      • Mentions that practically every other streamer doesn't record direct to their PC while streaming.
    • Christmas event. People will be nominating and voting for Christmas day or Christmas Eve to play christmas games.
    • upload_2017-10-1_23-6-21.png

    • He said most likely it'll be the PUBG event.
  • Says because its October he's gonna watch a bunch of horror movies, then runs through a list of like 50 different movie franchises that he owns. If only there were some way to peddle physical copies of movies to generate income when you're flat broke
  • Says there may be a lower attendance today because he's streaming earlier than usual and people may not know.
  • Says he doesn't even look at how many people are watching his streams
  • Says he doesn't look at YouTube views either
  • Tries to emphasize how its all about being here and having a good time.
  • If his prestream finished any time soon he may actually start actual gaming on schedule for the first time in recorded history (his prestream is so long that its basically up to the point when he usually streams anyway)
  • He's mentioning da prestream now
  • I'm now bored and going to go find some better shit to do

Pre-stream is still going. 50 minutes and counting of an ad screen and snorting. How does he have actual fans?

Holy shit he's just finishing now. He's starting at the time he's supposed to start at.

Fucking hour long prestreams.

Someone just cheered 50 bits and asked about patches and now Phil is going on a fucking tangent about fighting games on Switch.

Then someone tipped 10 bits and said Phil should unbox some shit on stream. Phil then said he has no money and can only buy stuff using his credit card.

Then BSV tipped 100 bits and asked Phil about tax deductables and then Phil went on a tangent about fucking tax deducations

Then someone tipped on behalf of Derich saying thanks for adding him to the autohost list

Then someone tipped 10 bits and asked if he still eats lasagna. He answered with occasionally, but he eats frozen lasagna.

The whole time he's going on about how the prestream will never end because of all these cheers.

Then Viking did a 1000 bit cheer about fucking garfield.

Then he got another cheer saying hello

Then another cheer asking about pepsi vs coke

He's that lonely on Christmas Eve/Day that he's going stream for whatever small number of kids who aren't playing with their new toys, and probably eating a turkey Hungry Man. Wow, that's actually pretty sad, I almost feel bad for him.

Seriously? He thinks people will be tuning in on Christmas? Why? Because he'll be wearing a Santa hat this time?

Even if I had no one to spend the holidays with, I'd rather just sit in silence than watch him run through some game.

He has to make sure he is the first person to try to sucker those kids out of their Christmas money, if he waits even a day there may be some bullshit natural disaster that steals Phil's hard earned money.

It may be a telling thing about his relationship with his parents. If they know he's spending it alone and it only costs a few hundred bucks for him to fly back for a few days, it's a good question to ask how come they're not flying him back.

I mean no matter if your child is Adolf Hilter or Phil, parents will still want to see family during family holidays.

PUBG will come to Xbox before PS4 and even the Xbox port haven't gotten a release date yet. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that neither of these port will be out in October of this year.

Look back at the history of PC exclusive titles that were open world (like DayZ) that were promised console releases.
I can't even think of any that actually ended up happening.

By the time it does actually reach console it'll most likely be after 2-3 years when the current console gen is dead.

I mean it could happen, but if Phil is seriously going to try and wait it out for a console release... Then I guess he's Phil.

Phil is complete ass at FPS and especially at realistic FPS.

Because Phil has "main character" syndrome
Regardless of his load out (flank, support, sniper) he goes full front line one man army and charges blindly into the fray.
He utters shit like
"Dude my team was nowhere"
" Well atleast I distracted them"
"Nearly got em"
Rather than sitting back, waiting and knowing his role.
That said he still thinks rifles are CC are shotguns are for sniping.

Dead obvious those bullshit excuses are because he doesn't want his multiplayer stream to be like every single other one where he got trolled and stream sniped literally the entire time. He's just too chickenshit to admit that. I'm sure no matter what he tries people will still find him and grief him to the point of ragequit like in WoW.

That and his aiming (most likely due to his Mr Magoo-levels of eyesight sometimes) plus he has the reaction time of a dead sloth.

To be honest, I can't see this being about his parents. Don't they still throw him some money now and again anyways? If anything, they offered and Phil did his "I can't afford to take a day off" routine.
