Does anyone want to take bets on why the book won't be out when he says it will be? I know the safe choice is "blame the comic artist," but I'm going to switch it up and say that the British chick narrating the book won't be done in time.

Nah. I'm just kind of being a smartass about Russ ever publishing this crime against the written word.
It'd only be fair to postpone it two more weeks due to the current bidding war over the movie rights between Mel Gibson and Steven Hirsch. As much as he admires Gibson as a man, Russ imagines himself starring in Hirsch's interpretation instead.

I'm almost positive that Russ must have attended or watched some awful motivational speaker or seminar type deal (ala Tony Robbins). The way he writes about "overcoming his disability" and inspirational cliches is right out of their playbook, or Russ's cringey interpretation of it.
I swear he comes off like some third rate local news reporter copying text filler off blogger sites for their first "human interest" story on someone with a disability. His reliance on trying to use pity and sympathy to get girls to respond to him is so creepy. People who are overcoming their disability don't name drop it unecessarily in every single interaction they attempt to have online with a female. Russ just has zero shame in his quest to get attention from any attractive female. He's the type of guy that in an active shooter situation would grab a three year old child to use it as a human shield - that level of no shame and total narcissism.
The internet is the one place no one would have to know about his disability and could get to know him purely for his personality. But his disability and pity for it is the only thing Russ has to rely on to get attention from anyone or just avoiding getting told to bluntly fuck off/punched in the face. Pity and using it for the tolerance that it entails is the only way Russ knows how to manipulate human interaction.

I'll never understand HOW he just cannot fathom TSwift not giving a single shit about his existence....or really how he can't fathom that she doesn't even KNOW he exists. A couple weeks ago, he also posted a screenshot of him listening to Swift’s song “we are never getting back together” with the caption “you couldn’t be more right”, almost as to insinuate that he had a relationship of some kind with her. That’s how delusional and irrational he is. It’s quite laughable as an outsider looking in.
