If you want a TLDR of how his Fornite stream has been going so far...
His stream chat has repeatedly been telling him he should play with 'friends'. There are people in chat who he knows somewhat well who are ready to play with him, but he's ignoring them.

Phil refuses to play in a lobby so far.

(and his chat isn't nitpicking either, people commonly say that with PUBG-like games its a lot more rewarding if you play with friends).

He's also saying he would never pay for the game because its "random online stuff"

Can't say I'm too surprised to hear that. Most multiplayer games are more fun with friends. Kind of hard to keep those around when you burn every bridge you can like Phil, though.

Funny he won't pay for this but he will pay for shit like MvCI(no content) and USF2(ported a millions times before); stuff that nobody cares for him to play. Destiny 2 was a waste of money as well.

Fortnite with 'friends' and a playthrough of Super Mario: Odyssey? That's a waste of time.

So DSP is still sliding deeper into failure? So when will the video of him saying how he's done with gaming and making money on Twitch/youtube? I see it coming no sooner than 2020.

He fears trolls after Friday the 13th. People trolled the shit out of him which bruised his ego bad. He could prepare the game before stream like mute other people but it's too much effort for Phil.

He's playing with some friends now. Seems to actually be having a lot more fun and 'enjoying da video games'.

I don't know how it doesn't get through his thick mind that if he'd spent half an hour figuring out how to fucking play before streaming then people may actually be interested to work. Ditto for when he explains the ins and outs of his bank payment plans for an hour long fucking prestream, no one fucking cares.

That's the thing with egotistical people. They love the sound of their own voice. Four years of streaming yet he still has not got a grasp of how to prepare a stream.

As with refusing to read 'troll cheers', refusing to interact with 'detractors' is cutting off his nose to spite his face.
I'm surprised he hasn't realised that if he consistently read troll cheers, he'd be inundated with them: inundated with money!
If he did more streams where people try to fuck with him he'd draw in more viewers and have all the audience 'participation' he could dream of.

It isn't a question of dignity, because he sank that a long time ago, he'd make bank by playing along with da trolls.

It's also funny how much value Phil and his mod team place on deleting inconvenient people from streams/forums.
He recently had a stream where no mods were around for a while and amazingly the sky didn't fall in.

He'd rather try to insult/give a reaction to 'da trolls' and tell them to enjoy their "juicy ban" as if it doesn't take 2 seconds to make a fucking alt account.

It's because he sees himself in competition with his critics & he has to "win" above all else. Phil always, ALWAYS, has to have the last word. Then after Lord Gout banishes you from his court (he literally lives in Palm court condos) he laughs to his chat while insulting his enemy "what an idiot ACK ACK ACK" so as to reestablish his dominance to his loyal subjects.

Phil is very insecure and he can barely hide that. To him losing in a video game, no matter against the AI, the developer's idea on how to play the game or other players, means that he is a loser in real life. Fortnite has shown that. He thought in the first game where he went out 4th (the other three players must have been Japanese I guess so he was the best American player in that match) he could outsmart the game by hiding somewhere and bragged about getting Top 4 without any problems. And then he came with the bragging because as we know a 4th rank is the same as winning that competition. He cannot accept losing.

Same went with Cuphead - that bragging and smug smile after defeating a boss. And it got worse in fighting games lately. He starts bragging the moment he knows he wins. "Got him", "got her" is something you hear a lot from him lately, it seems like a new DSPism. Also after Leanna left him he went back to being extra insulting and mean to his opponents, knowing they can't talk back. Last Sunday when he bored his viewers to death with the USF2 session he told one opponent to go suck his father's cock. Phil is frustrated as fuck (which on the other hand means he is more entertaining than being DeepSnoozePhil) currently.

He should take his days off, fine. But be sure that he will come back with whining because he made less money in October with four days less of streaming.

With Phil, it's a mix of ego, but also extreme loneliness. He has no friends and now no Leanna in his house. When he isn't streaming, he probably doesn't speak at all, with the exception being speaking to place an order for fast food. He's desperate for human interaction, and the closest he can get is his prestream ramblings. It lets him pretend people are actually interested in his life.

Speaking at people, not with them, is barely an interaction. His fans have to type in order to have a dialogue of some sort with him, and when he has his loyal fans in a team chat he is the one that adds the least to a conversation. Fortnite's Battle Royale has shown that again, while you may agree or disagree how strong the autism in his fans is they seemed to have more fun than him and made some more interaction with the stream chat and each other. That's one of the deepest scars the SoK have left on Phil - he doesn't want another Loophole trolling him live during stream.

Sad but true.
It's a mystery how he has even gotten this far in his YouTube/Streaming career by having almost no one else in his videos (except for Leanna for a while and a few attempts at multiplayer).

Some of those stream with Leanna, he looked uncomfortable whenever she was around. The 2016 Christmas special is a great example. You could see his body language when she appeared, he didn't want her in the stream.

He could use his green screen that he wasted money on when he uses his camera when live streaming.
