How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Does this stupid fat fuck think they didn't realize they were making a game that required skill?

I know these idiots because they assume that since they know something another person doesn't, that person is stupid.

Bob is the king of "ha ha you're so stupid and I'm so smart" because he knows something he only read yesterday that someone else didn't. Except usually he didn't even understand it, or is just wrong.

He's probably being contrarian in an attempt to piss off the "dudebros" who are mocking the gaming journalists who are pissy about people expecting them to know how to play games if they play them all the time for their job.

Bob is the very worst example of freedom of speech in action. He says whatever he wants to whomever he wants, keeps it just tame enough to not get booted off of any platforms, and faces zero repercussions for his behavior. If he instigated irl he's the kind of guy who'd push as many buttons as possible, get his ass kicked and smugly take the opportunity to sue.

He's really completely insufferable.

So Bob is basically Westboro Baptist Church? Makes sense.

IIRC, he had an attitude about knowing that the plot to Jumanji 2 both had troon symbolism and copied the 80s Dungeons & Dragons cartoon. Of course, this was all information available on the Wikipedia page, but he smugposted about it regardless.

He's too much of a :neckbeard: to have the word "Baptist" in there. It's gonna be the "Boston Mario Church" where they say "Miyamoto Hates Bros" and picket Cliffy B's funeral.

(sry, I'm really high rn.)

Pretty ironic coming from a guy who's many hot dogs short of a picnic.

Exactly, we shouldn't leave policy up to people like Bob Chipman.

Okay, these two tweets right here really piss me off. I ask that you indulge me here for a bit.

Of course, MovieBob would take the opportunity to use this horrific shooting to discredit conservatives and politicize the lives lost for his own gain. When the tweets were posted, the bodies haven't even gotten the chance to go cold yet. Hell, we still don't even know the motive of the shooter or whether or not he's a conservative. And yet, here he is, using this awful event for his own gain like every other selfish, retarded political shill.

Bob, fuck you. Fuck you and every other person who uses the deceased to push their own agenda and promote some useless-ass hashtag (this goes for conservatives as well, not just for liberals).

I know this feels like an "angry" post, but I've always hated how quick people are to try to use shit like this for themselves. And they act like they're doing something "righteous" even though they've accomplished nothing and will only repeat the cycle for the next mass shooting. At least give it a week for the people to mourn before eating away at it like a bunch of vultures.

Okay, rant over.

The fact that he shot up a country music concert tends to hint that he isn't conservative. That's why so many terrible leftists took the opportunity to gloat that the murdered were probably Trump voters anyway, so who cares?

Mother fucker, you want to exclude dudebros from gaming because you can't get over high school.
Also Blob boy grew up in an era of gaming where the term "Nintendo hard" was the standard and he constantly looks back at that era fondly. Now all of a sudden he thinks a little difficulty is bad?

Imagine working so hard to have a child only to have it grow up to be Moviebob.

You can at least take comfort in the fact that you can't go outside.

While it's definitely possible to legally acquire fully-automatic weapons, it's incredibly difficult to do so.

Here's an article detailing the various steps he would have had to go through:

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/i...cult-and-especially-expensive/article/2636302

Note the 'Extremely expensive' bit.

And then from this Slate article:

http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slat...ne_guns_and_fully_automatic_rifles_legal.html

Of the 91 American mass shootings catalogued by Mother Jones that have occurred since 1982, not one has seen the use of a fully automatic machine gun.

More than anything else, cost is what differentiates this event from all the others. The amount of weapons (42!) Stephen was found with (and God only knows how many others he possessed) probably ran him somewhere in the hundreds of thousands. That's not something most people can afford. And while it's confirmed he did buy weapons legally from at least a couple different gun shops, the types, quantity and whether they were actually used in the rampage are all still undetermined. We know he bought a shotgun from one of them but since it lacked the range needed for his spree given his position it's unlikely it was one of the weapons used. (There's a chance he could have used it on the people inside the hotel but again, we still don't know yet.). The other thing to consider is that given the sheer amount of weapons he was found with it's extremely likely that most (if not all) were acquired through non-legal means (meaning either the guns themselves or modifications to them).

Bottom line is that people like Blob who are attempting to frame this event as something anyone could do are fucking morons.

It's looking like he didn't have any automatic weapons at all, but instead was using bump stocks, which -- 2d Amendment absolutist though I am -- I have a hard time understanding why such things are legal. If we've agreed via the acts of 1934 and 1986 that full-auto isn't suitable for civilian hands, then I really can't fathom why simple devices which essentially turn the semi-autos into full-autos would be permitted. Of course, the fact they are simple devices might be the problem. (This is not posturing, and if any firearms experts want to explain why bump stocks are okay, I'm willing to listen.)

The real problem as far as I see it with this guy is that he had money falling out of his ass. Bob can rant about the most restrictive gun control as much as he wants, no gun control works against gobs of cash.

I personally love how whenever he opens his mouth about gaming, it blows up in his face:

Other than weighing in to call gamers entitled over the Mass Effect 3 ending, Bob's not a fan of BioWare is he? Because the Mass Effect sequels and Dragon Age II are prime examples of complex video games being streamlined for the casual audience.

My understanding is Bob holds a dim view of RPGs in general, which is a topic I'd love to see some further exploration of. That's my house, dawg.

Old RPGs tend to not have much in terms of button to action equivalence [no Jump or Attack buttons], do not require skill [as selecting commands while time is stopped is a matter of strategy and doesn't seem too impressive compared to trying to dodge a waddling Goomba], and take too much investment for Blob to not get bored.

I would love to see Bob attempt the old SSI games.
