JonTron in A Hat in Time salt - Developer hasn't removed him from the game

In 2013, a 3D indie platformer called A Hat in Time was put on Kickstarter. It met its funding goal and has been in development ever since. The game is finally set to be released this week but there's a problem. Well, it's a problem neurodivergents are having. The developers didn't want to engage in the controversy that the Yooka-Laylee developers got into. So, notorious Hitler afficiando Jonathan ARYAN "JonTron" Jafari's cameo is still in the game. Most people don't care about what JonTron said a while ago but pedophile hub Neogaf and its followers literally can't even right now.

Never liked the idea of youtubers cameos anyway. Their voice sticks out like a sore thumb. You get distracted from the game and its enviroment to think "this is some cameo voice" and that is not something a dev should want for their game
Whatev funny silly neogaf as usual I guess

It also can cause the game to feel dated in a few years time.

I remember seeing something about how a bunch of LP'rs who primarily play Minecraft got cameos in Minecraft Story Mode.

Like... Who's going to know or even care about these people in a decade's time?

Anywho, regardless of Jontron being in this game or not, I'm probably not going to touch it. Stuff like Yooka Laylee and Half Genie Hero left a sour taste in my mouth so I'm not too keen on playing another kickstarter game.

Much as it's an audiobyte, the tism of NeoGaf and blue checkmarks of Twitter can't let it slide. They gotta bitch about this. How else can they enjoy a vidya game they probably won't play if some New Yorker of Youtube is voicing a character that most likely is a one-shot character restricted to one area?
