great in-depth source of news
someone should add KF to that infographic, I can't be arsed

Why does this chart look like half a person taking a dump?

Quite a few cows are (alleged, sometimes admitted) criminals, including and especially some of the deepest knots in the Ratking. I'm frankly astonished kiwi's independent research(tm) hasn't been leveraged more frequently.
Well, I would be astonished. It's not too hard to guess why SPLC went after a far-right Cow- it just happens to fall in their purview.

Other media has cited shit that almost certainly came from here either directly or indirectly. Most don't have the balls actually to cite, though, because the REEEEEE crowd melts down and has a tantrum every time.

These assclowns, if Vox pays attention, tipped their hand.

The internet outrage crowd thrives off propaganda because the truth makes them look bad, and the average man on the street would rather not be bullshitted to, and if media wants to win back the trust of the average man, who actually patronizes the news in the hopes of actual information, then they just need to keep doing what they are doing and cite facts without spin and let the average man make up his own mind.

Oh for fuck's sake.

Weening and actively harassing thread subjects are a bannable offense, and if you do it enough you'll get your own thread of people mocking you. Most "bullying" or "harassment" that occurs does so in the containment of the site, unless the subject is doing something actually illegal such as molesting their pets, convincing minors to roleplay diaper sex with them, raping children, et cetera. Chris-Chan gets weens still because he's been around so long, but Kiwi laughs at the weens. @Michael J Hirtes is a prime example of this.

If someone actually came round saying "trans people should be rounded up and gassed" or "people of color are barely monkeys" or "the Nazis were right," they'd be met with scorn, disapproval, and shitposting. There's no sympathizing for Nazis here - there are multiple threads on Neo Nazi types.

It just happens to be that alt-left types, troons, and overwhelming autists produce the most content to laugh at - it's not like they get threads just for those reasons.

I don't think she deserves her own thread, but since she's probably a farmer, so I figured I'd talk about the author of the article here.

Aja Romano, the author of the article that just cited us, goes by bookshop online, and has been around the Internet since the Harry Potter days, when she was sucking up to better writers. Her entire Internet footprint is honestly fairly embarrassing--when LiveJournal banned a bunch of accounts for writing incest and child porn, for example, she made a terrible video in 2007 of her attempting and failing to light her LiveJournal shirt on fire in protest. That was a long time ago so it's easy to shrug off--I mean, she got a grown-up job as a journalist, and moved on, right? Well, she's a fandom journalist, so literally all of her articles are on topics like Sherlock Holmes fanfic, or people wanting more gay sex in Teen Wolf.

Here, for example, is a ridiculous list of articles she wrote as a journalist about Teen Wolf alone.

She wrote an article in 2015 about Andrew Blake, this guy who has literally run a Harry Potter cult and a LotR cult, and he also openly admits to having committed rape, but blames it on multiple personalities. One of the people in his cults died. The article paints him in this weird romanticized way, literally calling his "endless font of creative passion." The people interviewed were incredibly unhappy with it, and there was a big mess with lots of Aja Romano lying and saying she'd rewrite the article and release the original interviews, but nothing ever happened.

Andrew wasn't doing literally anything relevant at that point and hadn't in years, so there was no real reason for Aja to go through all that trouble besides personal interest. Given her history of covering things like that, as well as the article on Rose Christo, and having published an article about a bunch of different posts from Fandom_Wank--a site kind of like this, but mostly focused on fandom related stuff--I would bet anything she's already a member here.

Hi, Aja. I hope you've figured out how to light things on fire by now.
