The moment I saw this on my dash, I had to redraw this because it was just laughably bad how hard it tried to be cute. Original is on the left, the redraw's on the right (didn't bother with shading--I didn't mind the original's coloring so much as how it looks).

Much better, I don't know why but that original drawing's legs bother me with the crooked nature the artist went with.

At least Joy's and Sadness's body types were kind of kept similar to original, but what's up with Disgust? Is it because she's the pretty girl in the movie so the artist decided to smash her with a hammer? Also, I kept the puke coloured clothes because it went nicely with the original mood and palette. gross.

She looks horrendous, that's supposed to be the femme fatale, Widowmaker. Everything is wrong about this, the muddy colouring, murky line art, and it manages to make her look as far away as canon as possible. (Also check out those man shoulders) but in all honesty, I liked the general idea of Widowmaker looking like a spider so I snatched that idea and tried to make her as close to the original as possible without losing whatever the artist's feel is.

Yes, it's Murdoc, but I think the artist's intentions were possibly for a trans one? Tumblr doesn't really like genderbends because muh transphobia or something.

Found this one in the SJW art thread and I thought it was absolutely hideous. I also wasn't sure what the mood was supposed to be. Is ti supposed to be cute? Is it pastel-goth? You can probably tell where I got lazy, but I think I get the point across.
