Scotland Yard is investigating magician David Blaine after a model accused him of raping her in London. Police have asked Blaine to come to Britain to be interviewed, according to emails reviewed by The Daily Beast.

Natasha Prince claims Blaine raped her at a private home in London’s Chelsea neighborhood in the summer of 2004, months after her 21st birthday, she told The Daily Beast in her first-ever interview on the subject.

“Officers from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command are investigating an allegation of rape,” Scotland Yard said in a statement to The Daily Beast. “The allegation was reported to police on 17 November 2016 by a woman who alleged she was raped at an address in Chelsea in June or July 2004 when she was aged 21. There have been no arrests at this stage and enquiries continue.”

Police last month emailed Prince that they had requested Blaine, through his attorney, come to the U.K. for an “interview under caution” where he would be provided with the particulars of the allegation. Blaine’s attorney, Marty Singer, denied all allegations to The Daily Beast in a statement.

“My client vehemently denies that he raped or sexually assaulted any woman, ever, and he specifically denies raping a woman in 2004,” the statement said. (“This would include Natasha Prince,” Singer said in an additional statement.) “If, in fact, there is any police investigation, my client will fully cooperate because he has nothing to hide.”

In the year since Prince contacted police last October, allegations of sexual abuse and harassment have roiled almost every industry. Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly of Fox News were dismissed after they were discovered to have paid off accusers. Donald Trump’s presidential campaign was wounded by his boasting of sexual assault on tape and multiple women accusing him of groping, including in an ongoing lawsuit. And Hollywood’s king, Harvey Weinstein, was dethroned after allegations were unearthed that he preyed on women in the industry.

I met Prince at a near-empty fast food restaurant near The Beverly Hills Hotel where she was staying. A decade removed from the modeling world, today she works as an art dealer in Manhattan.

Prince was born in England to a middle-class family of a Liverpool businessman and entered the modeling world briefly at 15 before working full time at 18 when she was with Storm in London and then Next in London, Paris, and New York. Before she quit abruptly at 24, Prince graced roughly 25 magazine covers, including German Vogue, French Elle, and Italian Glamour, and was featured prominently in campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Levi’s, and Diesel Jeans.

You got raped! And you got raped! And you got raped! Everybody got raped!

I've been hearing stories about David Blaine for years. I heard he was a creep. But who knows. I'm very jaded due to the "listen and believe" era. However, so many victims are coming forward now and maybe a house of cards is really about to tumble and it's far more serious than yelling rape because a guy said hello to you and told you to smile or you had drunken sex and regretted it because you felt dirty or he never called you.

It varies from state to state. Some states have a 1 year discovery clause that allows sex crimes to be leveled against someone up to one year after they've been reported, regardless of how long ago it was.

Hence why Bill Cosby went on trial for rapes in the 70's and 80's.

@AnOminous might be able to explain it better.

I think this is the first funny rape joke I've ever seen. Most are just shit with no good punchline.

I'm willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt since all the sex abuse allegations that have been happening ever since (((Weinstein)))'s is bound to draw out some people who will sling accusations for fame or a monetary settlement. I mean it's a great time for it if you're that kind of a piece of shit; scared celebs and execs are probably willing to pay just about any amount of money to keep accusers quiet right now. That said, I wouldn't be too surprised if it was true.

With the rate things are going, Will we expect to see someone whoring for attention try to accuse someone in the Government of raping them?

Because it feels like that'll happen soon.

2017 shall officially be known as the year liberals finally got busted for being the hypocritical rapists they are! These were all the same people virtue signaling about Trump forcefully grabbing the vaginas!

Gosh, from turning people's drinks into Cheez-Its to raping people, magic is truly the gateway to Hell and Satan.

And/Or David Blaine has always been kind of sleazy since day one and this isn't that big of a surprise, if true.

If all else fails, he's a magician so I'm sure he should be able to disappear into a parallel dimension or where ever they keep David Copperfield.

Reset the fucking clock. Place your bets for when the next accusation comes down.

My money is by next week, Chris Evans is gonna get hit with rape charges.

I mean I just assumed David Blaine had raped at least a few people, I didn't need an actual accusation. Just look at him. Not assuming he's a rapist is just displaying poor self-preservation instinct.

Don't forget getting some easy free victim points by making a vague unverifiable claim about something that happened to you many years ago, but that for some reason you didn't want to make a big deal out of, but now that everyone's making a big deal out of the wound is still super fresh and keeps you up at night. After all, how can anyone take something you say seriously unless you've been victimized? I saw at least three "Me Too" claims on my facebook feed that I knew for a fact weren't real before I stopped looking and counting.
No sane person is going to argue that real rape is anything but deplorable, rapists deserve to burn in agony. But flat out making stuff up and/or treating every questionable drunken encounter the same as a brutal gang rape does nothing but steal dignity and validity away from real victims. Gotta rack up dem oppression points though.
