Not while the site was full of people openly admitting to and encouraging medical malpractice, people pushing for SSNs to be tied to online accounts, and users like Lime, Crossing_Eden, and Besada among others.

I think he's doing the best he can, given the numerous mistakes he's already made (not responding quickly, and addressing the situation before it blew up, and then shutting the site down), but he's not gonna give up on his (half dying) golden goose just yet. The site's gonna stay up, because he needs the money he can get from it, and he's just keeping his head low and waiting for things to calm down a bit, while also looking for a new administration team.

He's not getting any viewers from his golden goose right now because it's stuck in maintenance limbo, plus most of the media and outsider sources are shitting on him and his site right now. Plus are you sure he'd be able to find enough mods and admins to replace the 6 admins and 42 mods that just got up and left?
