It's like he hates looking put-together. He took a cover with at least a reasonable color scheme and made it into a 6th-grade-book-report-esque cover. I appreciate his artistic subtlety by making "SUED" giant and red; I really wonder what the theme of this book will be!

He left tons of white space around the central photo, He uses not one, not two, but three(!) different colors for the title (Plus at least two fonts) and then compounds his error by making the 'based on true events' a white on black text sidebox. This side box is not only wasteful of the upper left hand corner, it brings the total number of text colorings up to fucking four. This cover should be shown in graphic design courses as an example of what not to do.

Oh, absolutely. The only thing I found actually kind of nice about the old cover was the color scheme. It at least wasn't contradictory. Now, the cover looks like this:
