And I can think of at least a few.

Firstly, the 'incel' kind of pedo that never really grew up. As someone above mentioned they go after young people because they know that they can't do any better, because they are insecure and still have the fantasises they had when they where 16/18 or younger. They really still want to play those fantasies out and don't care who they hurt to get that way. That's why they find young teenage girls attractive.

Then they're the people who for them have it as a kind of fetish. Whether from experiencing odd or damaging sexual encounters or watching weird porn I don't know. They get off to the kick, the fact they're fucking someone younger than them and it's looked down on, that it's dirty and irredeemable. The physical aspects of the youth to them are probably just some sort of sick bonus.

Then there's of course the people who are just just fucking monsters. Who don't do it for the physical aspect or because of what people think but because they can. These are the people who would literally fuck children because they are defenseless because they can easily be manipulated and do it out of the sheer joy of taking someone's hope, happiness or mental well being away. Too them it's power play, more mental than physical.

There's probably a lot more but in the end it's like all crimes. There are many reasons why people steal/rape/murder. What you said wa s like saying we should erase the 'murder' gene. It sadly can't be done like that.

There's always a trend with pedophiles and their inability to function properly in society. Whatever mental disorders they have coupled with their ineptitude towards being mature and their twisted world views makes them suspect to have a negative impact on the country even regardless of their sexual deviancies.

In addition, it is absurd to say that "pedophilia is just like homosexuality, and will eventually be morally tolerable once the political climate changes" because human sexual deviations are all over the place. Having a fetish for crushing small animals is much more morally reprehensible than having a fetish for, say, balloons.

Likewise, a relationship between two mature and consensual partners, even of the same sex, represents an entirely different situation from a relationship between a younger partner who is more easily manipulatable and less experienced while also not being fully developmentally mature physically or mentally, and an older partner who is capable and willing to manipulate the younger partner while also frequently holding the above degenerate tendencies.

When I really think about it, it's the sheer selfishness that gets to me. These are people who are black holes of selfishness and narcissism. To them, the only thing that matters is their own sexual gratification.

Who cares if Eric develops a debilitating drug addiction because he needs heroin to block out his horrific memories and feelings of shame and disgust? Who cares if Emma develops crippling self-esteem and trust issues that prevent her from forming meaningful, healthy relationships with other people? All that matters is the five minutes of sexual gratification abusers get when they hurt a child.

This is why I strongly approve of chemically castrating pedophiles. They're ruled entirely by their sexual urges, so the best way to prevent them from hurting kids is to take away their sexual urges entirely.

They could have other mental problems that could spell trouble for others. Chemical castration only cures one symptom of their underlying mental disease.

The LGBT movement had to do purges during the 80's and 90's to get rid of people who would try to associate themselves with the LGBT movement so that pedophilia would have to get accepted in order for homosexuality and transgenderism to be accepted. Like you can see Youtube videos of the time in which "boy love" motorcycle gangs who be sporting their jackets and motorcycles would try to get involved with anything gay, if the LGBT movement gave into their demands things would be a lot different.

Unfortunately, there is a subset of pedophiles that do function quite well in society. Kind of like the charismatic Bundy-type where no one suspected the person. These are the type of pedophiles that cause familial-type abuse. Most common being step-parents, but also genetic parents, older siblings, cousins, etc. These type of pedophiles will often have relationships with adults and continue to have a sexual relationship with them while also abusing their child victims. The abuse is usually a well-thought out premeditated plan. Find a really absent mother or a neglectful alcoholic and her kids are pretty easy targets for a manipulative sociopath.

These "chameleon" type pedophiles may appear to be a normal father (or sometimes a mother) figure on the outside unless you know what to look for. They're usually not stupid enough to physically abuse their victims so it never becomes apparent to other authority figures like their teachers unless they are observant and educated on other signs to look for. Most of them are usually quite smart and of average appearance and not the inbred hillbilly stereotype that most people think of when you hear "incestual abuse". It's common to tell the victims that what is happening to them is normal and it comes from a source of love and affection (cue the mental illnesses!) Kids are dumb and naive, so they will accept this fully. Basically it all sums up to the pedophile "grooming" techniques and how these work best on kids, but also on naive pre-teens.

Most of the time the best way to catch these type of pedophiles is being very observant of a child's behavior. But, sometimes even when a kid does speak out, people will defend the abuser over the victim. Especially if they are charismatic and well-liked by the community.

Some things I don't really get with pedos, are they attracted to kids? Or just someone that looks like a kid? I don't understand what about kids they find attractive. Like would they do some girl who was 18 but didn't look 18? Or would them finding out that they were 18 turn them off?

Would they dump a girl once she aged like 5 years? Or what? Since they are pedos and are almost exclusively attracted to kids, then you'd think so right? I wonder if anyone has asked them those questions. It doesn't make sense to me at all.
