I love that all if the people who defend the Prequel Trilogy of Star Wars are these young ass hipsters who probably have a nostalgic bias towards these films since they were kids when they saw them but want to sound smart defending them.

Not entirely. Surely there's a large amount of people who like Star Wars because of their nostalgic attachment but many of the people who acknowledge the quality of the OT recognize their worth as fun space adventure films as opposed to masterful works of cinema.

Fuck RLM spends a gold chunk of their Star Wars content explaining how the films are good action sci-fi and well constructed for their genre. It isn't even nostalgic glorifying because they don't try to elevate it above that.

Only elaborating on that for the faggot contrarians that try to use this argument.

If he just wanted to be a contrarian he wouldnt be a SJW he would of picked some other poorly regarded subculture, like furries or bronies(although i would be interested if he came out with a video defending the rick and morty fandom). Let's be honest he chose social justice because he wanted to fit in and look cool which to be fair to him he has done to those within that circle.

As far as the star wars films the original trilogy is over rated but generally solid the prequals are under rated (largely because they are judged from the perspective that is not who the films were aimed at) and episode 5 is the only properly good film without any real flaws. Honestly the ewoks are just as annoying and pandering to kids as jarjar is. There are other issues with the phantom menace but if your main complaint is about jarjar then you should also slam return of the jedi.

You can enjoy the Ewoks you can find them less annoying thats down to personal opinion, but the inclusion of the ewoks negatively impact the film. They are tonally inconsistent with the rest of the film, they completely no sell the threat of the empire, they were only added to make the movie more kid friendly so they could sell more toys and more importantly they dont even use good guerrilla war tactics. At least jarjar was only anything close to effective by dumb luck.

What is it about Star Wars where its mere mention causes every thread to drift into off-topic autism? If you want to argue over whether Jar-Jar or the Ewoks are more annoying (it's definitely Jar-Jar for the record, what the fuck is wrong with you?) that's fine, but only if it's in relation to what Harry said in his video. If it goes beyond that, it's time to take the debate over to multimedia.

Actually, at first, Jack came in support of PewDiePie. He only made that video because he was attacked by SJWs for supporting him. So hbomberguy's entire premise is wrong.

I hate to say it, but I'd actually rather hang out with Jar Jar than him. Jar Jar may be irritating, but at least he doesn't lecture me about mansplaining and how there are more than two genders.
