ForFlor updated, and this is a porn comic? I really feel like this story would be better suited to the clean site, expanding on something she sees as a big element of Neon's character in the adult comic is just another move that shows the adult comic is necessary for understanding. It's also the first time we're seeing any expansion whatsoever on a character's issues with gender in this world outside of almost everyone being gender special and it being accepted. Why is she just NOW pretending like her world has trans issues when she's cited it before as trans utopia? Not that she'll handle any of these things well or realistically.

It's not hugely plot important, but it is character (and potentially world) development, something that she barely does in the clean comic unless it's Beleth/Jupet. Amdusias and Orobas have a bit, but not much, and even then she leaves most of that up to reader guessing and filling in between the lines. Even with Neon as her current favorite, it's not exactly as if she's been developed or expanded upon at all. Skillful writers know how to mix character development and plot well, but PK is not that.

I just don't see why this is a porn comic. I'm sure people that actually like Neon would have appreciated seeing this development, but sorry to those people if they don't want to read the porn to get it.

We know PK takes her sweet time getting to the porn. Other than one panel on page 12, "Imagine That"'s first page with porn in it took 17 pages to start, so that's 5 weeks worth of blabbering static headshots to waste those furrys' time.

Can I bring up that Neon was "raised as a boy" and eventually told her mother that "no, I am not a boy" but in the first panels of the comic on the very first page, you see Neon be more or less male until adulthood. While I do not think this is a decision that should be made before puberty hits, the comic implies that she made this decision far earlier than even that. (I could be wrong, but that is what it is looking like right now. It is also looking like she just decided this to be able to take part in things with others)
It also looks like her mother was already on board, given that her "son" is wearing a skirt.

Since I can not be sure with all this dumb timeline stuff, I can probably not count the first time Neon shows up in the other comic, as a male, where she clearly is already an adult, but if it is in the same timeline, to me it makes absolutely no sense.

Most "trans" characters in flora also just decide to look feminine and call themselves female, without changing anything about their sex organs, which makes me question why Neon alone seems to need to change her equipment before she can start looking the part as well. Because obviously she looked like a little girl at first, decided then to go along with looking male however for the longest of times. There is just as much no reason for her to go around as a "boy" with a goatee and all of that, if Floraverse would accept wearing a skirt as the decision to be female.
If she then still was to feel bad for having a dick, she could change this after she started looking the part, because again, looking like a girl and saying you are a girl, makes you a girl in this universe.

PK is taking the "milk the audience's money slowly" approach that is popular in furry patreon comics. Page after page of useless exposition irritates the reader because: 1. No sex is happening 2. The story, plot and character development is not moving. The hallmark of a bad comic is when you have to overload the reader with text to get the story across, which is solved by showing not telling.

Her inspiration in Homestuck motivated her to make an ungodly amount of annoying text and dialog that serves no purpose and pretends to be intellectual while actually being worse than writing you see in a creative writing class story by a mentally impaired jock.

It kind of says a lot that the cat is constantly meowing and asking for attention according to eevee but instead of thinking about what could possibly be off the thought process is "literally nothing is wrong he lives in a cat paradise he's just doing it for no reason to fuck with me obviously." I mean, i'm not a cat expert and don't know the full situation but my first thought when any animal was constantly acting like they needed something would be what it is that could be off, not "i'm perfect and do everything right for them, they're just fucking with me."

Excuse me, legit question.
I'm not a cat expert but don't cats actually fuck with you like this? Many people complain about shit like this, even people I know are good owners. One friend in particular says her cat has a knack for asking to be let out just to ask to get inside seconds after, or knocking things off tables and shelves, or ask to be petted anytime he is not busy doing cat things. In general he likes being a dick. So wouldn't Eevee's cat behavior be more or less uhh... normal?

I know a few cat breeds are very vocal for example the siamese cat, because they were bred to be very affectionate, needy and dependant on their owner, maybe it's the same with their sphinxes. a naked cat strikes me as a needy breed
