I mean, he's got a point in that most of YouTube's popular shit are those crappy Spider-Elsa and Peppa Pig ripoff animations.

But it's undermined by how his videos aren't any better than that.

YouTube is ultimately disposable in the long run. Google clearly wanted to make the website into a progressive social engineering machine, but because the loyalty/likability numbers for the company is nonexistent across the political spectrum, they will just keep YT stuck in a perpetual limbo until Trump comes crashing with the innevitable breakup of Google via the Sherman antitrust act. Shitlibs will be predictably crying bloody murder over it, but that's another story for another topic.

TroonChew is dead and gay in the EPA-polluted Animas river. The current owners clearly have no ambitions or desire of moving the forum past the failed repressive tolerance shtick. I still stand by the belief that it should be taken down based in the simple fact that, among other reasons I already elaborated upon on previous thread posts, they played a role in the deaths of several former members. Ignoring TroonChew is easier said than done when the forum itself and many of it's bastardized children are stuck on a perpetual ouroboros of drama mongering and harassment no matter where they go.

The youtube poop "community" in a general speaking sense still fascinates me and others, because literally no one could've possibly imagined that a (formally) innocuous and harmless video editing fad could've bred a vast surplus of useless, perpetually aggrieved sociopaths with low IQs, lower impulse control, and minimal exposure to moral values.

Like all faux-communities in the real world, ego, USI and an inherent disconnect between reality and their own biases and convictions are already enough to kill them.

It's both expected and possible. Some groups in general just take things relating to their hobbies as well as themselves WAY too seriously.

Back in 2008, I got caught up in the 'Spadinner' fad that was on its last legs at the time. I was 12, still found repeating things funny, and didn't really know what I was doing, at all.

On a long-forgotten YouTube account of mine, this monument to such stupidity exists.

What makes this all the more interesting, however, is that there are still plenty of kids out there today who think videos like this are in the upper echelon of video editing. Often they forego the editing entirely in favour of just screaming things at their television and speaking in gibberish. This video below often shows up on 'Top 10 Worst YTPs' lists.

One of many troons plaguing the forum and one of the only two embarrassing enough to think giving yourself a female account name is a decent substitute for being an actual female. Over the past two years Isabelle's posts have consisted solely of "I'M TRANS LOOK AT ME" or "PUNCH DA NAZI LMAO". Here's just a small sample of his :autism:. By the by, that goodbye post was edited literally minutes later to something to the effect of "Disregard that, I suck cocks" so he could change his avatar to Splatoon.

Definitely the worst thing about YouChew is the horrifically irresponsible, emotionally undeveloped attitude that admins/"veterans" have towards everything and everyone, in and outside the forum. For them, every little transgression must be addressed in the most asinine way possible. Not once have they ever let a crisis to waste, and not once have they restrained themselves from needlessly tormenting the userbase with regressive tolerance, and they've constantly enabled and abetted "higher ups" who were constantly engaged in harassment JimPalladin even said it's been like this since from the beginning.

It's as if the mooks running the site are so socially incompetent they don't realize or even care they have no nuance in dealing with the severity of an individual’s personal afflictions, like you wouldn’t believe how many times they've given the lip service “uwu just cause youre mentally ill is no excuse for being bad and it doesn’t mean you can’t own up to your actions and better yourself uwu quit making others uncomfortable” like yeah it's not like your own psychotic wretch of a forum was responsible for breaking down and soul-crushing so many users over the years, often for no reason other than the low-functioning sociopathic tendencies of the head honchos.

Overall, it's no surprise PTP is only the latest product in YouChew's crybully culture. Even more terrifying is that so many of it's former users ("retired" and banned, not including those who post in this thread, because hey you guys are okay) continue those horrifying ingrained habits long after they left the forum. I don't know if YCP still regurgitates the grotesquely neo-marxist "WE'RE A HAPPY FAMILY" mantra, but its very interesting watching these former users being forced out of their previous echo chamber and realizing literally everyone on twitter, tumblr et al. hates them, so each one of them just stick to their own individual hugbox, and they still hate each other to this day and have no desire for introspection or basic interaction. Each of them always function in the typical SJW way of being unlikable, unapproachable and only showing any signs of human emotion when it comes to eating their own the minute they smell any sort of transgression in their midst.

The whole subculture is toxic as fuck, and unfortunately I don't see it ending even after YCP goes the way of NeoGAF (That comparison in itself is an understatement).
