Oldie, but this got lost in the thread implosion awhile back.

Somebody - I really can't remember who, or find it. Soz - said something about how Becks and all her other babysitters could get lumbered, whether they want rid of her or not. Presumably they're referring to some law relating to responsibility towards the disabled?

Everything went to shit just after and I forgot to ask any US farmers what the deal is. Can people really be imposed by law to look after a disabled partner, even if the disability is self-imposed and there is no legal contract, such as marriage? It's extremely difficult to unseat her anyway, I'm sure Destiny was guilted to hell and back when she left, but even when things get to breaking point in the KQ household how on earth can they get rid of her if she doesn't want to/can't go? (Insert forklift joke here.) Just wondering what the legalities are...anyone know? It's hard enough to boot a functioning, fully-abled adult if they're determined to hang on, at least where I am.

No, nobody can compel anybody to take care of her.

However, she has established residency in that home now, so whether she's on the paperwork or not is important. If she's clearly a renter, on the lease, she can be evicted, (which can take longer than 30 days but eventually works) but if she's Becky's Houseguest, and it's informal, it's much more complicated. If she and Becky broke up, and she had no self-respect (ha!) and no place to go and she wouldn't leave.....well, read this:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/floydl...o-do-when-a-house-guest-wont-leave?format=amp

The law is lacking in this area and I've heard of guests staying a year. It can be dangerous for you to let a houseguest stay for a month and establish residency, because if they don't want to leave it can be a huge process of getting them declared trespassers, taking them to court, etc. It's can also be thousands of dollars. So getting her out could be harder than they know. I hope they were smart enough to put her on the lease.

If she became bedbound-nobody is obligated to care for her. But what do you do, let people lie in their own filth? Listen to them scream for food? No, Becky would likely end up doing medical care. If you go can finally kick them out, but they can't walk, where do they go? Can you be sued for them being in a dangerous situation? Repercussions can blow back on you. So people end up in terrible situations sometimes.

Anybody around Amber should use caution. She's one broken ankle away from being a permanent guest. The only good think is she probably too stupid to know any of this, or read through a long ass post.

Becky straight up said that in a younow, did she forget? And if she posts less to punish us all, she's only hurting her Cheesecake Factory fund...

Sounds like she's thought about it...

This bothers me so much. Her first thing is ‘oh I’ll just be a roommate’ not, oh it will be awkward af let me be an adult and move out on my own. It’s dumb af.
What bugs me is how she's like, "It's not that hard to find a place." Wasn't it sooooo hard to find a place that she sent two pets away? And in the same day, she even posts "proof" (who knows if it's real or not) that she was having sooooo much trouble finding a place that she had to ask her landlord.

she just lies to make things look good on her end no matter what and if anyone catches her, they're a hater, or soooo obsessed with her life and must be unhappy, searching for "easter eggs" etc.

The alcohol seems to becoming an issue seeing as people pointed it out in her last video. They're just popping up and she can't blame it on Becky and the boys.

The only thing keeping her mobile at this point (imo) is to be able to find the next carer. Amber can't bully her current housemates like she did with her previous ones, so...
From what I remember, the bottle spotted in one of her recent videos was one of those 99 schnapps drinks. Those bad boys are roughly 50% alcohol, and approximately 149 calories per shot.

I don't recall her actual weight, but based on a blood alcohol calculator we can assume that if she is 400lbs and takes 5 shots (745 calories) of that toxic fruity soup, she would be able to legally drive a car in about 30 minutes. If she weighs 500lbs like the first page of this thread says, and takes 7 shots (1043 calories), she would be able to legally drive after about the same amount of time.

So on top of all the junk and seasoning salt shes shoveling in her mouth, just to get a good drunk buzz going she's probably consuming somewhere around 1000 extra empty calories. I don't know about you guys, but 7 shots of that 99 junk  would fuck me up for hours.

Last month she was all, Kentucky is my home, I would never want to live anywhere else. And today she hates it. Also, why are Eric and Rickie making her and Becky pay more of the bills?

It's probably how Becky pays them to babysit Amber.

But, realistically maybe they use up more utilities? Amber said she used to have a "shower schedule" and would shower in the middle of the night, and Rafe has said Becky will shower multiple times a day. Also, we know Amber likes to keep her home cold, so there's the whole heating/cooling aspect of bills that she may be affecting.

Amber's percentages only add up to 99% lol

Wow, no wonder Eric and Rickie let her live there... they are totally using her to get their rent/bills paid. :story:

Either that, or they totally didn't want her living with them, but offered to be nice, so they decided to make it as expensive and difficult as possible and she still took them up on it because she wanted in Becky's house so badly.

Oh, fuck yeah. It's completely this. If I had to let someone I don't like live with me for whatever reason, they're paying a larger portion of the bills to make up for pain and suffering. There's gotta be SOME upside to her living there.

I don’t believe she looked hard at all, if she did and couldn’t find anything it has to be bc her credit is fucked or bc of the no I.d./bank account situation .

Also, she has no ties to the area.. did she even bother looking in larger towns where she could have had a platonic roommate(s), and access to public transportation and/or Uber.

It baffles me how many girlfriends she has managed to weasel her way into their homes.

Open enrollment for healthcare is still open for a few days. I wonder if she'll do anything about that, or if she'll blow it off and have another excuse to not take care of herself.

yes, someone to laugh at when youre feeling in the dumps

Apparently Becky posted this on Eric's new video. Thoughts? I also urge you to check out the replies to her comment, as they're pretty on point.

Being private then having a camera shoved in your face sounds like a harsh adjustment, so I can understand her frustration.

On the other hand, I don't know what she expected. She fucking found Amber on YouTube and reached out because of hate comments, then got upset because now she's a target too. My sympathy for Becky is extremely low.

Also, lol, insult people more. Surely that will win their favor.

Edit: Now I'm reading the replies to this comment and I can't stop laughing.

What type of landlord would read "Hey this is Amber Lynn my lease is up in September and I was wondering...." and then go, "What time is your lease up!" (complete with weird punctuation. Im an idiot but, come on. Yes I know that's an l, but that just makes it worse. I did initially think it was an exclamation point--Im an idiot.) Maybe Im just more of a sperg when texting, especially when it comes down to a sort of business relationship, but I dont know. Do people even text their landlord? Since it's a business sort of relationship I feel like it's more appropriate to just call or stop by their place/office.

Im just wondering if she got one of her friends to pretend to be her landlord so she could set all this up or something.

I think a lot of landlords/managers/whatever are like that now. With my last employer, the HR manager texted me important stuff, typos and all. Pretty sure it's becoming a much more common practice.

I assume she texted first, to start the conversation, and probably scheduled a meeting time or telephone call or something.

But no, I don't think it's one of her friends pretending to be her landlord.
