he couldn't even iron his fucking costume, I bet he didn't shower, either.

what do you expect? there's only so many hours in a day. He has to make dinner, do the dishes, go to the bathroom, blow his nose and that's not including the fact he has to work 5 hours and click a button to upload some videos to youtube, dood!

I'm pretty sure he's got some Italian from way back like his grandmother is half Italian and she was the last person he knew of that spoke the language.

What's actually funny is you can go six generations back on your father's side and apply for Italian citizenship but if it's on your mother's side, you're SOL.

Of course fatty has probably never actually bothered to look this up but if it was on his dad's side he could be a legit I-talian.

Piecing together what he's said from what I can recollect because as you know, he blabs too much, he's said before he's 25% Italian (although he could be lying and it could be even less) and he's also said before that he's Italian on his mother's side, which is confirmed by the sauce recipe which he said he got from his mother and her mother, hence the Burnell surname too. So more than likely its his grandmother on his mother's side that is the full blooded Italian. This isn't even counting the possibility his grandmother could be American born Italian too so a genuine person from Italy could be way up his family tree. Either way if his grandmother was born in America or not, the whole Italian thing is a massive reach. People say he's got more Polish blood than Italian.

I remember some of the pizza DSP tries it and it was like a New York or Chicago style pizza like that and he talked about how its nothing like some good old genuine Italian pizza then he started putting on a fake accent and doing the hand gesture thing when he was saying something like "Genuine Italian Pizza righta from the oven" and shit.

But he's far from being authentic and not just for the sauce but he never talks about his family. Italians are some of the most family focused people I've ever met. You meet an Italian and they're always talking about their cousin this and their cousin that, and their Uncle so and so. You date an Italian girl and it's Sunday night dinner at her family's where you find you're sharing a table with a dozen other people and there's a kids table as well and Nonna has been up since last night making the sauce and everything tastes amazing.

None of that. The guy is at the very least 3rd generation separated from whatever Italian heritage he has. First generation would be he would probably be able to speak the language with some difficulty. Second generation he might not speak it but he does know how to swear and he'd most likely have an Italian name like "Felice" or "Filippo". But no we know his name is "Philip" as that's what his mother calls him. So the closest to it is 3rd generation where you no longer have actual contact with your background but you say you do for reasons.
The only time that he brings up his italian heritage is when something italian pops up in a game that he plays or his sauce and few other dishes, otherwise he dont bring it up at all. like he isnt that proud of it as he pretends to be!

Guessing that his italian ancestors came to the US around WW2, doubt they came much earlier. The ones with ancestors that came late 1800 to early 1900, during the big italian immigration wave, are much like the ones you describe, as they stuck with their own kind and tried to save and hold on to the old customs, while those arriving after WW2 were much more integrated in the american way of life.

Checking his parents, it is on his mother side that he got his italian roots from, she had a italian surname prior to marriage!

Even though Phil brags about his marginal Italian heritage, I highly doubt he would ever travel to pizza-town if managed to procure the funds to do so. He would be confused by the amount of immigrants from North Africa roaming the streets.
Im 50-50, i want to see him come over here and make a complet fool of himself, but i also wish that he stays on the other side and dont come here!

To quote Bam Margeras uncle Don Vito:
"Pisa is the italian word for pizza!"

The "Why Patreon was so Low" thread from TKOHF was posted already, but I had to point out the newest post. It was of course the new Discord that is to blame for Phil not meeting the Pateon goal. You almost have to feel bad for the more casual Dsp fans who are trying something many of them have wanted for a while, and Phil's hardcore fans like BSV and ThatDogGuy just want to fucking destroy it. The Discord itself may be dull, but the shit storm it seems to have created has been interesting so far.
