Someone should bring up Phil doing giveaways for the "old" (over 2 week old) games he deletes off his PS4 when he encounters something too hard for him

The post was from ThatDogGuy, a familiar ass kisser on Dsp's forums, and it said"

"Discord had something to do with the Patreon being lower this month for sure, after me and others said it shouldn't go ahead. People should stick to his revenue streams like Twitch and not start rinsing the community with splinter chat/corruption ran by Fred Fuch wannabes."

Seems like this guy just didn't want the Discord for some reason and wants to blame it for Patreon failing so Phil shuts it down. It is the more casual fans who want a place where they don't have to walk on eggshells vs the hardcore fans who can't tolerate anything negative about Dsp. Could lead to nothing or some fun infighting, just a waiting game now.

Here is a revelation regarding ThatDogGuy on Phil's tumbleweed forums. Apparently the general consensus is that he is an alt account of Derich, who stole his mom's credit card in order to funnel donations to DSP, got in trouble for it, and now has to beg others to cheer for him (hence the "Derich says" meme). He also is the one who had the YouTube playlist of "pretty little girls" and it doesn't matter that he's 15...it's still Ross-level disturbing.

Does anyone know if he's doing CoD multiplayer at launch or going straight into the campaign?

His schedule isn't quite clear and i'm way too lazy to watch the Week in bitching.

No clue. I predict he's gonna go into multiplayer, do terrible and drag all his teams down, then get frustrated and do campaign on easiest difficulty and still manage to die a ton.

@Skyclaw Yes, DSP has said this in prestreams etc., so the same as last year. Multiplayer is the 'midnight' premiere tonight (which is actually 4am GMT, Britain left daylight saving time but the US does so this weekend) then campaign as Friday's main stream, he's undecided on more campaign or more multiplayer for Friday's 2nd stream on the latest schedule tweet:

BONUS: Note the bottom section, DSP admits he obviously hasn't hit the Patreon goal. I was amused during the Halloween marathon where one section he tried hyping up this 'Christmas games' marathon... during a what is essentially the same Halloween marathon where people were getting bored of Call of Cthulhu & then Friday the 13th. At least the Manhunt section with whining about tedious patient stealth gameplay hadn't happened yet.
Also I vaguely remember him complaining on stream about why patrons would vote for Friday the 13th... YET during prestream etc. DSP did hype Friday the 13th because it had gotten updates & new maps.

Has he even remembered he pre-ordered it yet, or is he still going back and forth between laughing how the system is "bugged" for having something in his library he didn't pay for and getting mad that he can't play something he believes he didn't pay for?

DSP would play the beta on August 25th & 26th, and again on September 2nd.

I signed up to use that discord (haven't had a chance to really play around with it yet) but I noticed the Phil talk forum is locked for outsiders such as myself. Any idea if that was @BSV 's doing or if that will ever change? Cause if I can't give grief to dsp fans I have no use for that app & it's just taking up space on my phone.

The issue seems to be in presenting the discord to Phil fans. Doesn't seem to be a lot of possible places where that could be arranged aside his forums. So yes they sorta need his blessing.

Though the way i would've handled it, would be advertise it, wait for BSV and any of the nazi mods to come in and then immediately kick them the fuck out the moment they demanded any authority over the server. He could go cry to Phil about it and ulimately have him hostile towards it, but fuck it. The moment a few people already join the battle is already won.

The worst thing they can possibly do is give BSV and his lackeys any power there.
