What if there was a breakthrough in treatment of Moebius Syndrome for babies (before the face develops too much) that could correct the non-functional nerves and such in the face? Russ would be unable to benefit from this breakthrough. Would Russ be a Moebius "purist" and declare the treatment was erasing his plight like the deaf community is notorious for, or would he accept it? Would be he jealous of the babies who could be rid of the syndrome?
