I don't think there's anything wrong with spectating someone who actively sought to make themselves a spectacle. I can't tell if he realizes that continuing to acknowledge this thread only directs more people to it and continues to feed into it.

It (surprisingly) breaks my heart to see him notice your post and then berate you on it. Your post wasn't even that mean and ended in quite a caring statement about how he used to bring joy to others. To see him utterly ignore that is just...sad. And rarely do I get that kind of emotional response from reading the farms.
Chance doesn't deserve people in his life like you.

Interesting. You think you know how public-spirited we might be? Have you bought into the idea that we are all basement-dwelling teens as Chance has?

Clearly, we all like laughing at the fat guy, especially when he comes with the bonus hilarity of getting off on and fucking his own fat. You gotta admit, that's pretty funny. But I think a lot of us probably do have reasons why it also disgusts us that this type of person is taking up a hospital bed and laughing at the families of burn patients in the ward too. Disgust isn't the same as anger, though.

As for public spirit, I don't know but I'll bet a good many have had to wait in emergency because that fat guy got a chubbie then thought he had a heart attack. Or we had really sick relatives in hospital who needed pain meds but had to wait because the entire nursing staff had to turn the obese person, or maybe one of us has been the medical professional who had to deal with fatty or otherwise been inconvenienced by their selfishness.

Still, you can be disgusted and find something amusing at the same time. The funniest thing in all of this is Chance is so mad that while he supposedly is recovering from sepsis-sepsis!-he made a video to read our posts in his hospital bed. Now that is one angry fat man and nothing any of us said came close.

If any one of us basement dwellers ended up with kidney failure or sepsis, we would never remember he existed. Yet every time he gets sick, he focuses on us. That is pretty damn funny.

Im not saying he shouldn't be made fun of, not at all. After all I am an active participant on these forums just like the rest of you. What I am saying is that we're on page 140 now, and the fat jokes are just a tad exhausted. Wait for him to do something new, then continue to make fun of it. Dont just sit in a circle chanting fat fat fat fat.

Yep! Oh and by the way, your government leaders want to restrict those injured caregivers access to pain medications due to abusive narcissistic fucks like many of our lolcow friends around here. So those caregivers get screwed over even further. So in hindsight Taterbot is 100% correct. Stay out of nursing. Stay the Fuck out of EMS. There aren't very many patients like Chance out there. But patients like Chance make a lot of medical calls, need a lot of medical services, and you will eventually encounter one. And that will be all she wrote. (apologies for being overly whiny and autistic. It's a particularly bad night tonight.)

And no people the size of Chance is not a normal thing in the US. Typically even the largest tops out at or just under 300 lbs. And even those are pretty uncommon. And even then most of the ones that weigh that much are big solid tall men who have just aged. Who are their own type of movement hazard just because of their height and weight. But nothing like this dude.
