He can't blame anyone now since SoK is gone. DSPositive won't last long once someone asks DSP a legitimate question, only for DSP to get triggered for no reason, insult and ban the person. This xmas is going to be a lonely drunk fuelled fuckup brought by himself. No gifts can give him validation. It's not enough for him, he will want more.

I wonder what's in store for us in 2018 regarding DSP. Wild speculation.

>Loses contract with Curse.
>Paytreon dwindles to $500 or less.
>Scammed again by another MCN.
>Loses his youtube channel due to legit copyright, it could happen around the time RDR 2 releases. He could survive the copyright strikes again but we'll see.

there is the real possibility that his channel gets hit hard with demonetization. That might go hand in hand with losing his house. 2018 will also tell us whether his mystery crisis is real or not. Honestly the longer dsp keeps doing let's plays the harder he will fall when real life catches up with him. That isn't just getting a job, it is also retirement, physical health, mental health etc.

I think his YT channel is already done. YT has made so many changes that I doubt he's making much.

They randomly demonetize videos now. as determined by a bot.

They made it so a video needs to hit 10K views before the creator can get any money from it. This destroys his usual strategy of uploading 50 videos a day that all get around 1-2K views.

When I earned my fair money with YouTube 5 years ago I thought to myself „Gee, having an employer that can change his terms and conditions any second is the worst idea possible.“

Most of these full time YouTubers now can be happy to get a job in the entertainment industry or have enough money saved up to invest and live off that.

youtube had to make algorithms and restrictions just to stop people like phil , spamming videos for a living. phil has always acted like youtube owes him something, hope this last algorithms finally stop the pigroach and youtube can start making a profit

Quite a few of the big channels have moved on to Twitch or rely on Patreon to keep going.

It'll be interesting to see what he does as he starts to realize that he the YouTube money is in it's death throes and wont be coming back. Right now he still seems to be just sperging like he has most of the year about YouTube "stealing" his money. He seems to have put all of his eggs into the Twitch basket and even he has to realize that his Patreon is going nowhere fast and has capped out with all the begging he can muster.

Will he keep uploading to YouTube and try to scrap what's left at the bottom of the barrel? Will he finally go to Vidme when the prime time to transition has passed? Or will he become exclusively a streamer to focus on his career free up time from uploading to watch more Netflix and wrasslin?

I think once YT is basically done for him (I.E. he's making under a grand and right now he's making a little under two grand per month) he'll move to Twitch and he'll fuck that up before long by pissing off his big Pay Pigs.

You know as he puts all the eggs into the Twitch basket the thought never goes through his head it is just another website that will go through major changes which could negatively impact him in the future. No doubt if Youtube blacklists him the same day all of those problems he had with Vidme will suddenly vanish and his channel will be setup. It is possible in this day and age people will just be able to hop from one website to another and keep making a living, and Phil will be 2 years behind those people every step of the way.

I haven't gone back to check, but I swear Dsp tweeted about Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein 2 most likely getting demonetized after his playthroughs of the first two were hit. He also knew about Cod: WWII which is why he tried to "trick" Youtube by not tagging "Nazi" and typing the title "WW II." So like Mario he knew this was on the table, really any M rated game is, and yet it was a total surprise. How was he suppose to know dood?

That ain't gonna happen as shown before, his fans are masochists. The only thing that fuck Phil up is another live fapping incident at a Twitchcon :optimistic: Twitch admins are sweeping his actions under the rug regarding begging for tips and cheers.

Having a "rough time guys my anxiety's back" video, in your own words. Once in a blue moon. Isn't the same thing as a grown man panhandling to middle school students and a norwegian man on a daily basis.

:offtopic:Some of these youtube personalities have hidden agendas:offtopic: Although not as bad as DSP as you have stated.
 
DSP isn't going to fall overnight. Even with some 'big event' that puts him at real risk, its going to be a slow burn down to the point where what hes doing on youtube/twitch/patreon won't be enough.

He will continue to lose things, he will continue to apply band aid fixes while not really doing anything to provide a suitable means to support himself and keep up the sympathy role from his cult. But the man is approaching his mid 30's, he's already admitted he knows this isn't going to last, I know this because I asked him. He says he 'wants to find other avenues", but its clear he's doing nothing to prevent or prepare for the day where this dries up.

But, it's going to be a slow grind to get him to that point, it's been clear ever since I have at least been following him, hell, you can see it everyday with his usual begging. Like most have said he's running out of things to blame, as he's crying about the same things every single day now.

Though, I will still be watching him slowly dig his own grave, maybe one day he might realize it's him, but I won't hold my breath over that.
