"angry" gamers/critics

Ah man is this asshole obnoxious. The whole thing with the fake death thing and how he assumes children are so stupid that they'll believe death doesn't exist is just mind numbing...Like kids aren't as dumb as adults think they are, and often kids know of the difference between real life and a make believe movie. It may be more limited than an adult's mind, but it is there.

And his sperging over parents...Damn.

Wait, when was "comedy cartoon" a cliche? enter, do your research on cliches better.

The fact that some of my favorite cartoons in general revolve around said genre makes me want to punch this guy for being such an uneducated prude/coward, just from hearing all that.

So what's his parental issues, in short?

If mister enter has claimed to have had parental issues and didn't say any exact examples, my guess is that his autistic opinion thinks that a parental issue is sending him to his room after he's broken something, and that instantly means his parents have abused him.

Seriously, not to hate on the autistic people, but the amount of emotional focus behind any autistic person's opinion can make anything they don't like seem like the worst thing in the world.

I dug around TV Tropes to see if he did share anything because of how much they love to suck his dick. I found this on the Tear Jerker page.

  • This culminates in his essay "Today I Learned that Pluto is a Planet", where after a few years of hinting, he finally tells all about his Dark and Troubled Past and how his parents and school system failed him for being a square peg in their round hole. Of particular note is the story where said parents confronted him about his bad grades when he was in 4th grade. Rather than try to understand his issues like Good Parents would, they forced him to put all the blame on himself by intimidating him to the point of tears and taking his dinner away until flies got at it three hours later.
I mean, okay, it's pretty assholish to take your kid's dinner away, but prior to that, not so much. To me it sounds more like they're trying to get him to learn the concept of taking the blame for his mistakes. We are missing a lot of context for this (I didn't bother reading the link, so if anyone is feeling brave enough to read his ramblings, feel free to correct me) but it's interesting how he paints his parents as the villains in this scenario where it's usually the kid's fault for being in this situation in the first place. 4th grade is usually when kids start to have more control over their own grades, so it's not like he's entirely blameless.

I gave it a read. Enter basically blames the educational system for his laziness.

oh boy. it's hard to debunk but i will say this for the death trope, there's nothing wrong with showing death to kids but honestly, don't overdo it to the point where it's basically game of thrones for kids.

twin characters: well i can kinda agree although can be quite similar . just try making them different.

can't grow up: i kinda hate this trope to some extent.

I just read the part about fourth grade and I saw a sentence that read "The regret was branded into me with a leather belt, and to this day I feel uncomfortable when I see one of them in the room."

Now, of course someone would think "Oh, he was beaten, it all makes sense now." But to me, this can mean a huge number of things, because it's so vague. What did his father do with this belt that branded the regret? Did he beat him with it? Did he whip it against the bed and make a loud noise? Did he tighten Enter's belt for him and say "pull up your pants, kiddo, you're not like those negros we see on the television set."?

I would call this memory manipulation, which is fairly common in autistic people or anyone who doesn't want to put the blame on themselves while making everyone they don't like seem evil. To me, I doubt his father beat him since his father would have easily pulled him away from the table and slapped him around for getting bad grades if his father was the violent type to use a belt on him. Instead, he made a loud noise (slammed a hand on the table) and made Enter miss out on a meal.

You'd think this fatty-dingdong would be afraid of food after this experience, but maybe now he just has a phobia of dinner tables, causing his desk to be covered in Dorito dust and Taco Bell wrappers.

As for the education system, I myself had no interest in learning what I already learned, but I still did the work when I had to. If I could skip on a homework assignment, I did, but that was just missing on a meaningless paper that didn't even dent my grades. Enter seems to have not even bothered doing tests WHILE in class, which is in fact, lazy. It's his own choice and his own demise caused by his own hand. I mean, what's stopping him from learning more outside of school?

It's fine to call yourself lazy in order to want to achieve more and push yourself further, that's simply being hard on yourself so you don't become what you reject. But to say "I'm lazy" and then be lazy is (not to sound harsh) very mentally retarded to do. Then again, we are talking about a reviewer who makes a video about cliches and then doesn't even know what the difference between a "trait" and a "cliche" is. Maybe he should have paid attention in fifth grade more when they were reteaching him about nouns. he could use a third year of that.

Here's the list so nobody has to waste their time
Worst
3: Barbie: A fairy secret
2: Little Princess School
1: Bratz
Best
3: Tie between Kim Possible & MLP
2: My life as a Teenage Robot
1: Miraculous Ladybug

Oh, fuck right off... Seriously, his Worst list is so full of obvious shite no one should care about, it hurts.

Also, the only good show - and even that's debatable - on that Best list is Kim Possible, IMHO. I say debatable, with all due honesty, as that show's MC is a Mary Sue...

Yeah... Business as usual.

i do admit that kim is mary sue-ish but not by much. when was the last time she was even confident in normal life? maybe a few times but you get my point.

also, you-tube is blocked on my computer so could anyone explain waht happend in that video? and is it phantom strider again?

or you got problems with female protagionist in cartoons in general. again, i respect your opinion.

Trust me at least a little when I state that I have no problems with female protagonists at all - unpopular opinion or not, I just don't like any of those shows on his Best list, save for Kim Possible, as it is.

Also, IT IS PhantomStrider doing this shite, again - hence, business as usual. It should also be obvious that most of the things he's targeting in his Worst list are shows only very little girls could relate to, to begin with.

and from the list it was top 5 worse and best girl shows? if i guess that right, strider must be scraping the bottom of the barrel here.

Neither Kim Possible nor MLAATR seem like very girly cartoons to me, they're both rather action-heavy (although I've never seen the former, they never really aired it here when I was a kid I think).
