So he hit the goal, meh. There is the 1% chance Phil gets too drunk and does something noteworthy. Outside of that slimmest of slim chances someone wasted $200 to watch the same Dsp stream that is on everyday, except he is wearing an ugly sweater and a santa hat.

People will say we are salty the goal was funded, but honestly it is better that some eastern European is throwing their money into the fire because it puts off Phil's inevitable disability fraud.

I can imagine that'll be the FINAL form, i mean he really avoids work related question's or simply blows them off, i could totally see a "Final? Emergency and I've been diagnosed" video with him saying hes been struck with mental illness he "always thought he had" and how it's not the "end of the world but now more than ever, your donations would be appreciated as now All i can do is play video games".

Its funny how he's now reliant on the whale donations he feared and warned against earlier. Everything seems to come full circle for him in accelerated time. A dallah a month is dead I guess.

The general rule with Phil is he fucks up everything he tries to do intentionally. So probably no good drunksydephil antics this time unfortunately. But of course that doesn't rule out him acting like an idiot or humiliating himself in one or more of an infinite number of other ways like he always does.

Hes only drinking eggnog no? How fucked can you get off eggnog, or is he busting out the good old gin?.

Either way, at best he'll say some dumb shit, i dont see it being a thing of him getting banned or anything :offtopic: but some chick was literally playing with herself for donations on stream and got a 24h ban, now if phil accidentally did it im sure it'd be a one n done situation, but with the state of twitch's cherry pick moderation, who can really say.

Including one-time pledges where he'll get the money in November but not December he's just a hair past $1126.

  • $182.54 pledge from a new patron, then taken away so it isn't charged again in December
  • $39.87 pledge increase from an old patron
  • $17.72 pledge from a new patron
Thats two months in four the goal was hit by a single person forcing it. Of course unless more people pledge it's possible he'll have some pulled recurring pledges that are not new, or some recurring pledges that are not new where the person's card is declined and doesn't get fixed.

I'm still sticking with he'll fake drunkness. He'll be too afraid to get actually drunk in case he slips up and says something. He'll do what he did with Fallout 4 where after like one glass he'll start acting like a moron on the game and dick around on it like he's wasted.

I've wondered for years how the Phil saga will eventually end. Will he stop gaming and get a real job? Will his fans finally dwindle in numbers to where he can no longer live off their donations? Will he have a heart attack and be found weeks later, decomposed in a pile of garbage on his couch? But you've just named what I feel is by far the most likely future for Phil.

Any source on info about their copyright woes? From what I understood they actually had licensed almost all of the movies via the channel itself, which in order to fill dead air or unexpected delays in content they have a certain agreement with companies that hold rights to tons of old movies. So as a result those movies usage for the show WAS paid for and legally legitimate, but the dvd reproduction wasn't, which is why so many can't be released or found like that.

Though, that's just a cursory knowledge and I'd love to know more about how that ended up working out because this whole DMCA thing is a sticky web of greed and insanity that no one seems too sure of.
