I definitely get your point about suicide by cop, that is a concern I hadn't really thought about all that much I'll admit, although I still think that the number who could actually go outside, buy a gun and start learning to use it and still think whatever heinous activity they're planning is a good idea is very low - again, I'll concede I'm probably being a little optimistic here and obviously "very low" is still too high.

Obviously it's concerning that there are people posting on the site who could genuinely hurt someone but the problem is that it's hard to actually distinguish between people who genuinely mean it and those out to look cool and edgy, although both are fucked up in their own way. Attempting to intervene online can often do more harm than good since you just make them angry that their space is being invaded, the question is whether it's worth angering all the incels even more in the hopes of getting through to the 1 or 2 who are having a crisis of faith that day and happen to read your post and may take something positive from it.

Unfortunately there's not really any easy way to help them out, although maybe getting the provider to pull the plug and forcing them to move to a more obscure url might slow the rate at which their little group grows.

I don't know about people finding their SO here, but there were two users who used to come here who were married. "The Knife" and "The Knife's Husbando". Sadly, some drama led them to not coming here anymore.

Also I wonder what the incels are doing today on Thanksgiving. Judging by their attitude, it must be hard for them and their families to be around each other.
