I have a feeling that the artist realized she forgot that Athena had tights and went back to (badly) color them in.

EDIT: Also that Kay (the ninja girl) would have a hard time sneaking and doing stealth with that massive amount of weight.

The “pattern” on the dress? tunic? whatever, made me think it was a pixelated thing to censor something when I first scrolled down. I was glad to see it was just the dress/tunic/whatever.

I don’t mind Isla’s doll very much (except wishing she was curvy) but her animated look… leaves a lot to be desired for me, ESP since she’s so whitewashed lmao

so I tried a ‘redesign’ I guess? I got lazy but I haven’t really drawn in months so oh well! her dress is blue so I really wanted more blue in her design… and the pink off her top is supposed to look like the coral, but again, I got REAL lazy.

Tumblrinas hate drawing cute and/or attractive characters as they are, because they're typically dumpy legbeards in real life and it's a reminder that society doesn't find them desirable. They're too lazy to improve their appearence, and if they can't be attractive, no one can. They'd rather try to change society's definition of beauty than get on a treadmill and put on some makeup, because god forbid someone be responsible for their own problems.

I wonder how an actual Japanese person would feel about Americans changing the races of Japanese characters. On the one hand, they're not as sensitive about race as we are, but on the other, they have a strong connection to their culture and ethnic background.

A Japanese otaku probably wouldn't respond well to it, though.

Yes, Jirou literally has earphones growing out of her earlobes. It's her superpower- when she plugs her earphones into objects, she can channel her heartbeat into them to break them, or listen to the sound waves passing through the object to hear things from far away.

It's actually not even close to the weirdest power in BNHA. Shoji, another student, has six arms and can shapeshift the ends of the arms into other body parts. There's also a kid in the manga who can turn people into meatballs. Worst of all, there's Mineta, who grows sticky balls on his head and wears a superhero costume that looks like a diaper. He's even more useless than Sakura was in Naruto.
