crossposting from the Coughlan thread. Contra did a discussion with him and called him the "OG YouTube Leftist", which I wouldn't be proud of associating him with that label if I were Contra, since Dick was also one of the OG YouTube Lolcows.

Which is why I've never championed any of Ghazi's white leftist heroes. I have no idea who this guy is, but the thing with Contra hanging out with harassers in public some months ago was pretty damning to me.
I'm already getting people, other trans people, fans of Contra, bust out arguments about how Jesse isn't really that bad, or how any exposure is good exposure.

A lot of the piss and shit seems to be because the venue itself is run by Holocaust deniers or some made-up shit like that, as if any leftie university club or whatever would let Blaire through the door. People are also going on about how "its not a debate, it's a conversation" as if there's going to be much of a difference (seeing as Theryn's apparently moderating the thing, it's probably not a conversation? Some of these replies...ow. Would be nice if she just turned around and told them to fuck off. Probably won't happen, but it would be nice. Her videos are at least a lot better and creative than the likes of Mr. Potato Head, Smug British guy with ironic skull background who drones on for 80 hours, or the crying schizoid junkie.

Probably likelier she ends up cancelling though.

The "actual criticism" probably wasn't worded in a way to deliberately upset her, though. Again, they're doing it specifically to punish for naughty behavior. Now that they know it'll work? It'll be cranked to 11.

Contra may have "fucked up" by not pandering to Ghazi. But GamerGhazi are at least 100 times bigger lolcows. It's actually better long term to break away from retards like that. I think 'Points can handle this less melodramatically of course, but don't lose sight of the true spergs here.

I just feel bad for him tbh. It's no fun being turned on by your own kind. And I'm impressed that he's still going to do the retarded Blaire White debate that I'm not going to watch. It shows strength of character that most internet speds lack.
