$2,000 may be flying a bit too close to the sun. He has to cross his fingers and hope for at least one person to take the gamble and donate $200 to get to his current goal. If people do "rally" to make this goal he will see a dip in tip money which he won't like. So he got what $4,500+ on Twitch in November, now he wants $2,000 on Patreon in December plus his usual Twitch money, that doesn't leave his paypigs with much left over for the big fundraiser in January.

Hopefully Phil isn't planning on doing anything stupid with his money like taking a week off and blowing a bunch of cash on a girl he only met 3 times is 6 months in an attempt to impress her enough to move in with him. Not like he has a pattern where the only way he has to woo a girl is to throw money around on vacations and expensive dinners etc. Us detractors and our crazy ideas that will never happen.

I sure as shit won't pay him for it, and Phil's enthusiasm for this was dumb to say the least. But. Watching him fuck up in MGS while desperately trying to raise funds for a January tax bill dump could be some kwaulity time passing material during the dead zone of January while I'm at work.
 
Redemption runs are dumb. He still does not get what makes his best runs. He needs to close chat and play games without help. Games that require skill over chat knowledge is where the idiot shines. His latest need for speed run was filled with rage. He had to play it because it was a new release, and he hated every minute of it. Redemption runs are him missing the point again.

I'm sad we won't get to hear him blame Kojima for making shitty overrated games when the redemption run fails to generate any interest and he dumps a 2000 playthrough. Instead of accepting it as his fault, he'd probably claim that he was right to think MGS was shit all along and the views/tips/bits/cheers prove it. "Am I so out of touch? No, its the viewers who are wrong."

Sad since he'll never hit the first goal, let alone the second.
 
It's the same reason he's playing Bloodborne, a game he said he'd never go back to. He's just dipping back into games that got a large reaction and created several TIHYDPs so he can ham it up for however many hours. And it works, I guess. He can just go down a list of what TIHYDPs have the most views and he's guaranteed to get Participation

No it means that after day light savings ended he was sleeping in an hour earlier (for about the past month), he probably realized that 95% of his viewers don't live in his timezone and it was affecting his views etc so he's going back to the same time.

he had streamchat the first time he played MGS 1-3 didn't help him much..only time i recall it helping him was in 3 with The Sorrow
 
He's already lost over $30 in what look to be declined pledges and/or adjustments to credit card processing fee estimates. He also gained about $35 in large amounts with no change to the number of patrons which might be people fixing their cards and doing a manual re-attempt to charge (but I don't think Patreon has anything like that, I think it's just daily automatic re-attempts) and/or places where Patreon overestimated processing fees; $20, $10, and $4.

He's also lost about $55 with 11 lost patrons. Best Patreon goal ever guys. Best goal ever. He hasn't had this few Patrons since October 2016 over a year ago.

I have to ask - given that boss is literally a walk simulator (I mean, short of the previous Cobra Unit bosses who appear even if you just force their defeat through exhaustion instead of death, all you do is walk up a fucking stream provided you didn't kill anybody), how exactly did the stream help him?

He was told about the pills before he even got to that part. Could have been a pretty good time watching him die and do it over a couple of times but he knew days in advance.

But i thought peepul loved his mgs playthroughs and if anyone proved otherwise by making full montages proving the contrary are mentally ill people who should have white coast after them.

He just can't quite make his mind up on which of his lies to go with, so i'm just betting he's trying to provoke shit again to start another autistic illuminati as someone above said.
 
So did he hit the patreon goal or not? the front facing number is currently 874. Before the end of the month it was at like 9 something. He didn't say on twitter whether he hit it or not.

I think he is incorrectly gauging interest. The dark souls redemption runs did well because people like watching him play the souls games. I just don't see a 2k interest for metal gear solid. IF he had actually promised to get shithoused drunk I may even have donated but you know he's just gonna sip on one drink like a pussy.

Watching him play MGS with chat would be incredibly boring. Something better would be Mario Sunshine. Is he still playing sunshine in january?

I think his money problems are all fabricated. There was a stream the other night where people were literally throwing money at him. 100 dollars from cuck1, 100 dollars from vidar, 10 from wardog etc etc. Instead of staying on the stream he actually left, he was like "oh i gotta eat dinner". Would someone in financial straights turn down free cash? no they wouldn't.

I don't think he's making it up. I think there's 10% truth in what he said about his back-taxes, and the rest was over-exaggeration and over-dramatic panic. The dumb ass doesn't even know how much he freaking owes yet, but he's stretches and plays up a small truth into a big deal to try and shake everyone down as much as possible. The total he's gonna owe is gonna end up being like...4-5k and he pretty much already got a majority of that from the Thanksgiving pity stream, alone. He'll keep acting like he owes hundreds of thousands until the end of January then come out and say, "WE DID IT. We raised the money! I'M FREE!!" and then conveniently not disclose the real total because, "it doesn't matter!" and then pocket the extra 2-3k he got. That's my forecast.

If/when he does get his paypigs to get him out of this taxation trouble, what are the odds that this new girlfriend mysteriously disappears as her pity-bux services are no longer needed?
