Why is Lizzy still with Jerry? This post flies in the face of what should be the most important thing in her life. I mean, aren’t most religions tied to life after death? Unless she’s under some misguided belief that this fool can be redeemed/reformed, in which case she’s fighting for a lost cause.

Lizzy falls under a category of what I like to call "Hipster Christians."

They're a type of people that follow all of the hippie *snicker* "love and tolerance" teachings of the bible, specifically new testament, but only specifically to project this misinformed front of being a good person without actually learning the teachings of the Christian bible.

I'm a bit rusty on conveying this information, but this "Love thy Neighbor" aspect of Christianity, while important and becoming a more focal point in modern day teachings and interpretations of the bible, is also being misconstrued into "accept everything." The new testament does indeed make this "be a good person" shtick a prevalent theme, but the way people like Jerry and Lizzy interpret it is in order to justify their flaws and shield themselves from their promiscuity. The bible is mostly about bettering yourself in this regard, learning to shed worldly attachments and rejecting the perceived social corruption of social norms and learn to not live in sin.

tl;dr because I'm not the best equipped to discuss any of this in a high caliber of debate, but Jerry and Lizzy are not abiding by any of the personal convictions, challenges, or teachings that are in the bible, rather they use that as an excuse to make other Christians look bad by saying "See, we're more tolerant than you! Don't you remember how tolerant Jesus was???"

It's a fucking act and an embarrassingly shallow one at that. Note that this isn't me saying certain demographics of people can't be Christians, that's not my point, but many of the churches I've gone to that aren't talking about stoning the gays (not literally) try to teach an acceptance and bettering of ones self through removing sin, not embracing it.

Christianity is really anything but a progressive hippy religion, so I don't get why you see people like Lizzy trying to make it such. The New Testament is often just as scathing and judgmental as the Old Testament.

I'm not sure if the bit about Anthony's fans using the "excuse" far too often is exaggeration or not, but that's irrelevant.

Someone having a 'negative perception' of you doesn't mean it's an inherently wrong one to have. it only means that they believe that you've done something bad or wrong, and "admitting to your flaws" is a way of acknowledging that there's something wrong with you. Whether or not you want to fix it is up to you. Jerry making this point could, at the very least, be shorthand for Jerry admitting he believes he's absolutely perfect, with all of his wisdom and whatnot, and at most, it could just go on to prove that Jerry's egotistical as fuck. But we already knew that. And before one of his fans who may lurk here comes up with the defense "BUBU LILY HAS CLAIMED THAT GAMERGHAZI IS SMARTER THAN HER" - no. That defense is invalid. The geniuses over at Gamerghazi poked a hole through his "If you don't like getting hit for saying stupid shit, don't say stupid shit logic", and Jerry continued to use it anyways.

It's likely why Jerry's never going to own up to writing lesbian orgies or pedophile fantasies in Stockholm, or sockpuppeting on Derpibooru, or being a terrible person in general. Because then, that would mean that those terrible, transphobic, likely Nazi trolls that have spent so long unjustifiably going after him would actually be right for a change. And admitting so would kill him inside. So I guess we should leave Jerry in his own bubble, where his word is law and he is always right.

By "when it's relevant", I meant whenever someone asks Jerry how he'd run a country, which (assuming the hypothetical situation where he gets his own country without any strings attached, as is normally the case for hypothetical questions like this) would prompt him to type up a 5 paragraph essay about how everyone who dares follow an ideology that he hates would be swiftly executed without any irony, and by "discuss" I meant show why he's a fucking idiot for wanting such a system.
