I think @Melchett pays attention to Russ.
Okay, this forum needs a supervisor who can relay shit to me regarding layout and I have no idea who's here to trust for that. @CasualSeppuku , aren't you sup here?
Ye I'm trying to keep an eye on here. I was the one who edited this thread's title to be more clear.

My plan for the subforum was to keep a general facebook updates thread to contain his general "I'm better than everyone else" shitposting that has little relevance, and subject threads about bigger events, like lawsuits and his book.

Basically, I feel like this thread should become the new general thread, with new ones created when something big happens. That means that people can still just discuss Russ like they were in here, but people who don't have the time to sift through all his bullshit can just read the threadworthy major bits.

Maybe separate threads for each lolsuit? Separate threads for stalking, book, batshit insanity?

Also, someone should seriously copy his blog, if he keeps it up much longer. He could easily rage delete it.
IMO the blog should probably get its own thread, I'll make one now. I'll try and archive as much as I can in the process, if it's not been done already. derp it's got its own thread nvm

Russell posts irrelevant Facebook posts like >5 times a day usually, lets keep that stuff in here. Anything more notable should get a new OP.

Seems like we should either rename this one to the general thread or merge it with old general thread if this one is supposed to be in the same spirit as that one.

I have no clue. I feel like we need to document everything, but the whole saga wants to flow organically, not in little vignettes as it’s now formatted. A big part of the Shitlips tale is how he acts out as his delusion deepens. Maybe we could make an impassioned plea to Null to unlock the original thread with an additional linked TOC?

This. The flow of the main thread was a thing of beauty. Because most of his sperging was laid out chronologically for all to follow, it had a certain life of it's own and it was fun to catch up with it. Nobody real wants to wade through a fuckton of sub-threads. Ain't nobody got time for dat.

Yeah.

I think the reason why CWC's format works for CWC is because he has all these different ways of communicating, like Twitter, Facebook, Patreon, and contact with weens. Russ' only real way of communicating with the world at large is through Facebook, so a thread with all of his Facebook content is basically all of his output.

I think the best solution is to have the general thread be a dumping ground for all Russ content and let people create threads for further discussion of particular aspects of him. Kind of like if in The Brianna Wu War Room if you added the regular Brianna thread to the top of it.

What trolls live under a bridge in LOTR?

Teeeeechnically, Moria has both a Cave Troll and the Bridge of Khazad-dûm. There could be more trolls, for all we know, living at levels of the vast underground city that are technically "under" the Bridge. But that would be stretching the point until it snaps, since the Bridge is where the party meets up with a slightly bigger problem: Durin's Bane, the Balrog Gandalf fights to allow the others to escape. (This is the one that's a creature as powerful as himself, and it does sort of kill him, but he gets better, Takes a Level in Badass, and goes from Gandalf the Grey to Gandalf the White. Jesus Christ, I just used a TV Trope. Kill me now.) Since the party meets the troll pretty soon after entering Moria (in the movie, literally all the orcs fuck off as soon as they hear it coming) and the Bridge is almost at the other side, and Moria was in its heyday a city several days' walk across, I'm going to call the one troll we actually meet not at all "under" the Bridge. Then there aren't any more trolls until the big battles, like Pelennor Fields.
Bonus Tolkien sperging! In the books, there are no Elves at the Battle of the Hornburg, aka "Helm's Deep!" Especially not Haldir, Marchwarden (aka border patrol) of Lórien! Haldir has one job. One. He guards the borders of Lothlórien against stray Orcs and occasional Ringbearers and friends who spill out of Moria down the Dimrill Dale, with his brothers, Rumil and Oropher. In the books, when we last see him, he delivers the now-Eight Walkers to Celeborn and Galadriel, and fucks off back to keep guarding the border. He does not show up at the Battle of the Hornburg, which he probably doesn't know is happening, and he definitely doesn't die in an effort to save the collective mortal asses of Aragorn and the Men of Rohan, who don't trust Elves and would probably freak out if a detachment of Elf archers showed up on a rainy night when they're all twitchy and nervous anyway.

I think the forum is moving along okay. It was just strange how everything was just always going to one thread. Mel was saying earlier how the major stuff should get it’s own threads while minor stuff gets dumped in random updates ala cwc. But whatever I can do to help with organization I’d be glad to lend a hand

I like how the facebook thread is going. It's hard to split into clean "sagas" like with CWC, but I think threads of Russ and (x) might work well too. Like how it's done on the cwcki where there's separate sections for Chris and his dealings with various ideas and concepts like music, money, love, racism, etc. We could have things like Russ and the law/constitution, Russ and empathy, Russ and women, etc. The Russell's Real Face thread is great and serves a good purpose. And the blog archive, book discussion, fanart, and favorite pics threads are good too.

Everything going to one thread helps in understanding Russhole’s manic episodes, employment drama, lolsuits, etc., since they’re all connected. We can go into detail on the subforums, but please consider unlocking the main thread. I’m still unclear why posting on one thread’s a problem. Could someone clue me in on this?

How can one popstar be so cruel?

Just had to update this one to include Kayli's comment.

The sub-threads work as a depository of Russ' highlights in retrospect, but the totality of the saga is easier to follow in one common thread, since all the elements overlap and aren't so easily separated as they happen, as you say. The main thread works as a way to follow it in real time, and the sub-threads serve as the Cliff's Notes to his shenanigans for anyone who can't bear the thought of digging through 400 pages. (For those who are willing to take the plunge, it's quite a ride, and totally worth the effort.)

This. The flow of the main thread was a thing of beauty. Because most of his sperging was laid out chronologically for all to follow, it had a certain life of it's own and it was fun to catch up with it. Nobody real wants to wade through a fuckton of sub-threads. Ain't nobody got time for dat.

Once you get past the maddening horrificness, there is a goldmine of comedy - besides the usual point-and-laugh schadenfreude, there's the incredibly dry humor that Kayli adds. I haven't seen humor this dry since Shelly Berman or early Bob Newhart. (That last one is brilliant, thanks for catching it!) As much as she deserves a thread of her own, I wouldn't recommend it, since Russ reads here. (Has he ever noticed the thing with Taylor Olivia? That was pretty hard to miss.) That would make him TOO paranoid, to the point where it would affect what he does, which would probably lead to him banning her. Poke at the bear the wrong way, you get another John Bulla snafu. That wouldn't be fair to her or anyone. If the main thread keeps going, the sub-threads will settle in as events unfold.

Honestly I preferred a single thread. It was chronological and easy to follow. I admit that this might have made it somewhat more difficult for newcomers, but the first page set things out well enough, and there was enough new material on practically every page that you could pretty much start reading anywhere and get the gist of it.

Edited to add: I think most people agree with me for the simple reason that creating other threads was eschewed even after the forum was established.

Not really. He's just annoying some employees they already have on staff. It's probably cut into their Tetris and Minesweeper time a bit.

The actual responses to his nonsense are mostly boilerplate motion to dismiss shit that they have to use against a couple dozen crazy frivolous litigants every year. It's not like they have to conduct extensive discovery or hire expert witnesses or anything. They just have to point out that Greer is a pathetic nutjob and filed a frivolous lawsuit that will get dismissed like all the others from various drooling crazies. Greer is only unique in that he is literally a drooling crazy as well as figuratively one.

Another telling insight into Russ's victim complex and sense of entitlement - the edits page of his Quora account: https://www.quora.com/profile/Russell-Greer-1/log

So this was covered before, but this particular answer has never been posted. Guess we weren't the only people questioning his integrity.

And it completely contradicts THIS disturbing find. Notice the dates?

And he totally didn't just describe assault. Uninvited hugging, kissing and sweet nothings are A-ok if you class it as a social experiment!

Who the fuck did she think she was?! She should sue him for the PTSD she now has.

His Quora has been discussed in the main thread before it was locked, and the question list was also particularly lulzy. Does Russ ask how he can promote Moebius charities, help others with disabilities, improve his life and become a better person?

Agree with what's been said. My gut feeling is Russell will look at Kiwi, see the thread's locked, and think he actually won something because he recently asked *trolls* to STOP. Shitlips is too stupid to realize there are multiple threads about him.

I too liked the flow of the general thread. I've looked at other cows on here and theirs don't flow as well as Russhole's does, but it's ok because it works for them. Russ seems to be different because all of his antics are intertwined and chronological. He jumps from one fixation to another and back again...sometimes in the same day. That's when his true crazy shines.

How can one popstar be so cruel?

She had her first Jingle Ball performance last night. Pretty sure he's pissed about that.
