Back on topic a quick read of the Reason of sentence in for Mr. Shepherd it is pretty clear that without trying Crown could get 10 years less time served however a few things
1) Lindsay was one of the leaders
2) Lindsay was planning to do the shoting
3) Lindsay flew from the US to take part
4) Lindsay started the planing
5)Shepherd sentence was a joint recomendation and it doesn't appear that Lindsay will be this means that if the Crown is being too nice the Judge has an easier time going for more
6) the range for a leader in a mass murder plot is 16-24 years compared to a 7-10 year range for other involved

I would expect a sentence coming down om the lower end of the leader range 16-18 years for her less time served of around 4.5 years if she is luck she may get 10 years accounting for time served

That sounds about right. Arguably, someone died as a result of this, but the causation was kind of indirect. Still, you don't get to plot mass murder and just walk away from it.

If someone here prints out the entire thread and mails it to her in prison in weekly installments of say, 5-10 pages an envelope, it will be only a few months until she is all caught up.
