Corey's fans are still in denial about it. Also there's stories about Corey having some creepy controlling contracts with the women who live with him.
There's something funny about those Angels and I wouldn't be surprised if it's full on R Kelly level. Why do they all look the same? Shouldn't the sexualization of women in the music industry bother someone who claims to be so against sexual abuses?
The article says his band broke up. I wonder if he will try to get new Angels on board? Because while he wasn't going to sell out big venues people did seem to enjoy the spectacle enough to buy tickets. He probably didn't realise that most of the audience was comprised of fat middle age housewives who never got over their 7th grade crushes on him along with people who came to enjoy the lulz. He seems to have it in his head that he's genuinely talented and can dance like Michael. Feldman is delusional.
But I imagine he made enough to pay a band on that level. They're worse than a run of the mill bar band doing 70s covers to a handful of drunks who are only half listening and occasionally yell out "Freebird!". But it's a spectacle that should at least cover the basic salary of a crappy band. I'd say they deserve more just for putting up with the little weirdo.
Feldman and his wife Courtney allege that his band “quit with no explanation other than saying they were afraid to continue,” but PopWrapped has learned that it was not for safety issues at all, but allegedly for non-payment. I interviewed several former members of Corey's band, who tell me “It's all a ploy. Corey isn't trying to create social justice. Corey is lining his pockets. He doesn't care about exposing anyone.” Another former band mate explained further, “Corey is a mess. He's constantly conning people into doing free, pro-Bono work for him. Everything from his web development to his social media team and most of his crew is done pro-Bono, with a promise of money, when he has it. Many of the people he takes advantage of are middle-aged women, still obsessed with him, from during his heyday. He's demanding and messy, constantly on drugs, mostly pot and prescriptions for imaginary pain. He wants everything done NOW. He's not the icon he was in the 80's and working for him ruined my respect for him and even his past work. The final straw for a lot of us was waiting weeks and weeks for past-due money, while he and Courtney enjoyed an extended vacation on the beaches of Hawaii drinking and getting high. He's reminded us many times that we signed an NDA, and if we go to the press, he will sue us. He owes us girls thousands of dollars. It was a hard lesson, but he's left us no choice but to take him to court for the money. We just can't take him seriously anymore.”
I've heard stories that he gets people to work for free with the promise of money later. The old "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today" scam.
So he's conning middle aged ladies still obsessed with him? I figured those would be the easiest marks. There are fans out there who will stay absolutely loyal to celebrities even when they are lied to and bled dry. Just to have the chance to be close to their idol.
Corey's been sitting on names for decades. I know he told some stuff to the Santa Barbara police in '93. But there's so much more and he just wants money. I saw a post on Metal Sludge awhile back that said he gets paid off by pedos to keep his mouth shut.

Rumor is if he gives up anyone it will be people already dead. He apparently gets a healthy chunk of $$$ as payoffs from some of his abusers. If he rats on them the money dries up.
Maybe that's why he's aiming for $10 million.
I don't know if there is any truth to this. But if he's as crooked as his former Angels say he is then I would not be surprised. He's seriously damaged goods and a laughing stock for years. He's got major inside info but won't spill. If all those women can come out against Weinstein then why can't Corey open his trap for free? Now's the time to do it. Because everyone else is. He's missing the only opportunity he really has because all eyes are on Hollywood burning right now. I actually thought he was being somewhat earnest and was just majorly flawed. But I've pretty much lost any faith I had by now since he doesn't seem to be interested in outing pedos who are probably still abusing kids.
If he mans up and surprises me that would be great. Saying that he and the band doesn't feel safe performing makes the pedo situation he's sitting on sound dire and probably drove up donations from those middle aged female fans who still page through old Tiger Beats. I'm sure a few genuine internet whackjobs have donated as well.
I'm still trying to understand why everybody is so surprised at this shit being so widespread. I was clicking though channels one night, a while ago and landed on some channel that was a reality tv show with parents and their child wanna-be stars, and dear god the willingness of the parents to do anything to get their little darling a part was horrifyingly skeevy at best. My dad worked in New York for a short time in theater, and he was disturbed by the way mothers would try to get producers interested in casting their daughters by "willing to do anything, very agreeable, won't give you any problems" type of pitches, and this was 40 years ago.
Hell, anybody who's read any type of theater/movie history would know about the constant sex shit going on. And if one girl wasn't willing to go that far, there were two hundred arriving in the next week and one of them probably was.
There's a reason actors and actresses were on a level with prostitutes for years, the silver screen just shoved it under the rug for a century.
There are a lot of fans that refuse to believe a celebrity is a sick perv. Look at all the people who defended Cosby despite victim after victim coming forward. Some of them still defend him. A lot of people don't want to believe their favorite stars are that messed up.
The casting couch is nothing new. But I think a lot of people are genuinely surprised at how deep the rabbit hole ended up being even if they suspected it was worse than they thought. It's all very disgusting. But I think the truth of the matter is that it's always going to be like this. Humanity itself would have to evolve past pervdom for anything to really change. Rooting out this batch of vermin only thins the current herd a bit.

His excuse is being molested as a child. As well as being an alcoholic since age 13. He says he's cheated on every wife and girlfriend he's ever had.
I'm thinking he may have made these confessions due to some pressure. Maybe he heard or just thought that someone from his past might #metoo and he wanted to get ahead of the race.
Morgan Spurlock is coming clean about his history ... regarding sexual harassment, sexual abuse, and even an accusation of rape.
The famed documentary filmmaker posted a shocking list of confessions Wednesday, including a detailed description of a sexual encounter with a woman he had in college that led to him being accused of rape.
Spurlock also admits to paying off a former female assistant who he often called "hot pants" or "sex pants" about 8 years ago to settle a sexual harassment claim and keep it quiet.
The "Super Size Me" star says he's not been an innocent bystander amid the wave of sexual misconduct allegations in Hollywood and beyond, and has wondered ... "When will they come for me?"
He adds ... "If I'm going to truly represent myself as someone who has built a career on finding the truth, then it's time for me to be truthful as well."
Spurlock drops another bombshell too -- he says he was sexually abused as a boy -- before vowing to be part of the solution from now on.
