Depends on how long her sentence is, and if the Farms are even still online whenever she gets out.

If she gets released earlier than expected and sent back to Chicago (I strongly doubt she'll be allowed to stay in Canada after her release, and she may not want to stay there), part of the terms of her release might include not being allowed to use the internet in any fashion for a period of time.

Do we even know when her trial's set to continue? Or did that already happen and none of us were aware of it?

You know, I remember reading this some time back and wondering why it was she held such hatred for much of the female gender. Sure, the fact that they were competitors for men she was attracted to couldn't have helped matters, but she claims in a Facebook post someone else archived here that she's always hated women she's considered inferior since her first year of school when she didn't think so much about. There are shades of a "doth protest too much" that are evident in that post. Though I will agree she probably never connected well to her peers anyway for various reasons at least somewhat originating in her apparent awkwardness and the deep shame resulting from that, thus driving her future hatred of the world.

Soooo, had a look at the court docket since Lindsay's sentencing begins in less than 10 days. Surprised to see they have 5 days set aside for the sentencing hearing. I will as I said, try and get over there for some of it.

There is a pub ban in effect, but that usually doesn't mean court will be closed to public so I should be able to sit in there for a bit. Will report on anything I see/hear if i can attend for any good stuff. If any reporter's post during the hearing, I will post their stuff also. Here is the docket for April 16:

I'd say circa 15-20 years, minus time in custody as credit. She won't be out until she is nearing or in her 40s.

I'd be shocked if the sentence is 12 years or less. More than 20, well they threw the whole set of law books at her!

That blog post proves it, Lindsay really is the female Elliot Rodger. Half-Asian, rich, hates women, low-key nazi, generally unpleasant to be around and kills people just to be edgy.

LOL, yes, good fucking point!

Only two diffs are she wasn't a virgin and didn't manage to off anyone! But yeah, female ER is a good call man.

Yes it is actually required and full title is "HMTQ in Right of Canada". No matter what Federal dept you may be suing, its always that. And of course in all criminal cases. Old Queenie has put a ton of people away if you take it literally! HAHA

We also must give the Crown notice of any intended proceeding by serving a Notice of Intended Action, per the Proceedings Against the Crown Act.

We still have some serious ties to the Monarchy. Although the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms in 1982 changed a bit here and there, Queen is still on a lot of our money, our warships are dubbed HMCS whatever. Lots of offices have her portrait hanging... blah blah. A lot of streets in my city are named after English cities, or titles, etc. There is a Duke, Edward, Bishop street. Edinburgh, London, Liverpool, Cork, and other English city named streets. Our largest hospital is called the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre. I went to QE High School. You get the point.

Our law is same, very tied to English common law. Thankfully our judges don't wear wigs, but lawyers have to wear gowns and tabs in trial proceedings.
