I'd really like to submit because drawing is fun and fixing even more but my art skills are still shit, I can't draw digitally and am afraid of hard judgement (not constructive criticism).

tbh you can probably just fire up photoshop and do edits that way. Sometimes that's all you gotta do, just shrink the lips, make sure the facial features are aligned properly, get rid of giraffe necks, etc...I'd really like to submit because drawing is fun and fixing even more but my art skills are still shit, I can't draw digitally and am afraid of hard judgement (not constructive criticism).

Possibly off-topic, but the lips on the original sort of remind me of when Nona was the lead KOF artist. The main difference being, of course, is that Nona actually knows where to place facial features.

This is one I remember circulating around the chans for some time because it was like some weird uncanny valley of badness. The artist clearly had technical merit but they did so many weird things like giving Rei a koala nose that it somehow LOOKS wrong. I lost my original edit but here's a second version.

Moved the mouth a little+made it smaller, made the noses a little less bizarre. It's definitely not 'perfection' but man I don't know what is up with Tumblr Nose 2.0. Also cropped out the text because it was bugging me. That's a personal gripe though.

I tried correcting a drawing seen in the sjw art thread. I tried to make his face more bearable by shrinking the nose and replacing the lips ans I redid the eyes. I elongated his legs to cure his dwarfism and shrinked his head compared to his body. I also tried to change the colors because..I don't know but I didn't really like the tones in the original.

ok so i'm not the best artist around, i basically did a headshot (because i can't draw bodies for shit because the body was fine) and tried to take the tumblr out of the face.
i hope it's good enough.

Nice effort, but it looks like you made better fanart out of bad fanart. It doesn't look at all like the Anime character it was supposed to be.
