Culture The Hollywood Sex Pest Megathread - America saw Yewtree and said 'We can top that'

Since the New York Times published its bombshell report last week on the sexual harassment allegations against Harvey Weinstein, the number of accusers grown considerably in both number and in severity.

While much of the public’s attention is on high-profile accusers such as Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow, the film producer also reportedly took advantage of staffers, aspiring actresses, and other young women in the industry.

Emily Nestor, for example, was a temporary front-desk assistant when Weinstein reportedly said he’d boost her career if she accepted his sexual advances. Another Weinstein employee, Lauren O’Conner, penned a scathing memo to the company detailing more alleged abuse.

“I am a 28 year old woman trying to make a living and a career,” she wrote, according to the New York Times. “The balance of power is me: 0, Harvey Weinstein: 10.”

In a New Yorker exposé published on Tuesday, 16 current and former staffers told Ronan Farrow, that, in his words, “the behavior was widely known within both Miramax and the Weinstein Company.”

We want to know if there are more victims out there who were not given the chance to speak out.

If you feel you have been personally abused or harassed by Weinstein at any time during your career, send an email to carla.herreria@huffpost.com to talk about it.

Oh God, I hope Tom Hanks isn't guilty of something. :(
Oh, but it's becoming increasingly clear we're all guilty of something by these definitions. I'm sure Tom Hanks did something some "feminist" would have been angry about at some point in his life.
I can't wait for the inevitable backlash to smack these people in the face. The longer this goes on the more obvious to me this entire thing is largely about women insisting we all "believe women." It happened 30 years ago and there's no way to verify what they claim decades later? Why should anyone take those claims seriously? Oh, right... muh feelz and muh vagina.

If the most we have is "Tom Hanks seems too nice" then meh, I doubt there's some major story. At least with Spacey there were years and years of underground stories. It's funny though. At one point after the election, Tom wrote an encouraging tweet and people jumped on him for not freaking out like they were.

We're getting too much into "listen and believe" territory. It's going to derail the whole thing if we start lumping in that kind of stuff with the Weinsteins, Singers and Spaceys.

Anyway, do you remember when Terry Crews was groped by Adam Venit in front of his wife? Being that he's a man a lot of people joked about it. Jillian Michaels thinks he's being a crybaby and he should have beaten the guy up, which Terry thinks is a bad idea that would have landed him in a lot of trouble. Russel Simmons even told him to let it go and drop the lawsuit. But he doesn't really have room to talk. He's been accused of raping four women, one of which is the granddaughter of Lena Horne.

Terry Crews left the WME agency for UTA and has filed a lawsuit against Adam Venit. Venit only got a brief suspension. You know it's pretty bold to walk up to a huge black guy who could easily tear you limb from limb and grab his junk in front of his wife. Makes you wonder what else he's done.

Terry Crews believes he is facing serious retaliation after he filed a lawsuit against WME agent Adam Venit for alleged sexual assault.

The 49-year-old, who claimed Venit groped his genitals at a party in 2016, announced on Twitter that he thinks his family is being tracked and bugged since he filed the suit against the Hollywood honcho.

"I believe my family is being tracked and possibly bugged," Crews wrote. "Someone hacked into the computer my son and I built together. I have to shut it down and replace the hard drive."

The "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star said Russell Simmons, who has now been accused of raping four women, was asked to "pressure" him into dropping the case by WME executives.

"Somehow they thought he was the 'King of Black people,'" Crews tweeted about Simmons.

The actor added that if he were to have a "timely accident" — "you know where to look."

He claimed the LAPD informed him that the Hollywood big shots would not play fair and would do anything to keep their secrets.

"Retaliation in some form is expected- I would be naive to think otherwise... But vulnerability and openness is actually my best protection," he ended his thread.

Crews filed his lawsuit against Venit in early December after first accusing him of the assault on Twitter back in October when countless women began coming forward with their own "MeToo" stories.

"I did not know this man," the former NFL player said of Venit on "Good Morning America" last month.

"He comes over to me. I stick my hand out and he takes his hand and puts it and squeezes my genitals and I jump back like hey, hey and he's like - he still is sticking his tongue out and all this stuff," Crews said in the interview.

Venit was briefly suspended from the William Morris Endeavor (WME) agency in the wake of the allegations, but has since returned to work.

Crews left WME after accusing Venit in October and joined the agency UTA on Friday.

Terry Crews has been tweeting a lot about not feeling safe. He's gotten a lot of pressure to drop the lawsuit. And he's not getting much support from the media or other celebrities. Where are the black celebrities to back him up?

Weinstein had his victims followed around. It's not totally preposterous. There are only a handful of big agencies out there and they don't like to be messed with.

It’s really humorous people are laughing at Terry Cruise for not beating this man’s ass, despite their crowd droning on about black men being thrown in jail unfairly. What do they think would’ve happened if Crews did that?

Morgan Spurlock (Supersize Me) has come out as a sex pest, the fucking cuck.

Good. Does this mean people will stop showing that fucking scam documentary in High School health classes now?

EDIT: Also, it's fucking disgusting that people are insisting Terry Crews' molestation isn't a big deal just because he's a big buff black guy. Sexual harassment is an issue no matter who it happens to.

I mean, he would be the ideal candidate to frame as the Hollywood Butt Bandit, when you think of the inhumanly amount of heat it could generate.

Also, I find it strange that David Letterman hasn't got any mention in this mess so far. He used to be a notorious pussy hound who usually kept 2 or more broads in rotation at the same time. He must have slipped up and done something unsavory at some point, or what?

Rose McGowan, who happily worked for Victor Salva the child rapist and called him a "sweet and gentle man" can shut her hypocritical mouth.

I find it very interesting that these reeeeeeing women are so quiet when it comes to having worked with and stood up for actual documented child molesters like Salva and Allen.

Can someone explain to me how "suck my dick and you can have this movie role" is literally rape? You had a choice to do it or not and frankly if sucking a dick made you millions of dollars I'm not going to fall over myself feeling sorry for you.

Hell if someone wants to point me to the cock I have to suck to make $10 million dollars I'll do it. I wont whine about it two decades later either.

She's still awfully quiet whenever someone brings up her defence of Polanski "unfair" treatment.

He drugged and sodomized a child and Polanski is the one who was treated unfairly!?

What a scumbag.

Mia Farrow is also one of his biggest supporters.
You know... the mother of the daughters Woody Allen sexually abused, one he ended up marrying.

Since he's coming back to Netflix, I wonder if they hope he'll be an anti-Trump comedian that is actually funny. Hopefully he'll keep the beard, since it makes him look like a recently released mental patient.
